"My husband and I came here for a long weekend getaway with our two dogs. We had the absolute best time!! The cabin was lovely and the land was fun to explore and the farm animals were so fun to watch and pet. We went golfing and to the Colorado bend state park, as well as staying at the cabin and enjoying the patio. Lovely place! Beth and Tom are some of the nicest people too. We really hope to come back."

"Excellent communication. Nice rooms. However, person staying next door to us had a dog that would randomly bark and after a bit it would finely settle. Bathroom toilet was not cleaned. For just a place to lay our head it did the trick. We would've loved to take advantage of the sitting area outside, but the weather was not going to allow that. We would stay again and hopefully our next stay will be better."

"Quiet, peaceful cabin! The cabin itself seemed more spacious than the pictures showed, plentiful hot water, beautiful views out of every window! The property owner was very helpful and communicative, even offered recommendations for nearby activities! We utilized the fire pit to make smores and had an amazing time. "

"My grandchildren have not experienced camping in a tent. I wanted them to experience sitting around a picnic table rather than a living room, everyone sharing one room, one bathroom for all of us, no screens for most of the day, few appliances. All was accomplished! Management was responsive to all needs and offered solutions. The property feels the pinch of no available workers. I find that is everywhere!"

"We stayed in a riverside cabin and it was a wonderful getaway. Great outdoor space with thoughtful additions like bbq tools for the pits and lots of outdoor seating. The shower had great water pressure and it was super conveniently located for day passes to Colorado Bend State Park. We loved it and will be back."

"We had our wedding at the property and it was perfect! It was a 24 guest wedding with 10 adults and two kids staying at the cabin. The two cabins made it very easy to split the early risers from the late risers. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and worked perfectly for both a small ceremony and a reception in different sections of the property so that it felt like you were going from one event to the next. "Very nice. Clean. Easy to find. Beautiful addition and character. Wi-Fi was a bit troublesome but worked. We loved the old original floors and the squeak in the master bedroom. Kitchen was very nice and decorated well. First hot shower had sulfur smell which is not uncommon with electric water heaters and well water that sit sometimes. Subsequent showers it was much better. Would stay there again regardless. Bluebonnets were coming up. Views over the water were amazing. Close to town if...
