"My only complaint is that our television didn't work. And we told the staff member setting up the evening wine and cheese that and she said someone else had also had the problem. We had had a thunderstorm and thought that maybe that was it, and she said she would check in our room while we were gone that evening. But when we returned, the television still didn't work and there was no indication that anybody."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cute Vermont Inn. There was a variety of foods offered at breakfast, and we all thought it was delicious. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and thought it was tasty and fresh. The staff is very helpful and courteous. I would have given solid 5 stars, but the towels are a tad scratchy and the room carpet has a wet dog odor...but the rooms are very clean and nice."

"The owners were very friendly and I was attracted to the property because of the high ratings it was given. It’s not a property that you would drive by and say, I’d like to stay there. However, they’ve put a lot of thought into it and even provide a fire pit and smores kits in the lobby so you could roast marshmallows if you wanted. The rooms are decorated nicely and the clientele staying on both side of us were very nice couples like ourselves. We got to know them and they felt the same way. I would definitely stay there again and the rates are inexpensive compared to the large chains and other properties. Highly recommend."

"The property was in a lovely location and very clean. The "hot tub" turned out to be a jetted tub in one of the bathrooms and I'm not sure that was totally clear in the listing as it was one of the filters I applied when searching for a rental. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful and instructions were clear and easy to accommodate. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, though our group would have loved a small saucepan or two. The pool was very clean, as was the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!"

"Cannot say enough positives about this property. We came with three grandchildren and celebrated their mother‘s 42nd birthday and grandmother‘s 80th birthday. We all had an incredibly wonderful time here. There were lots of toys for the kids to play with. There were lots of places near the property for the kids to go hiking with their dad. We went into Woodstock spa. We also use the hot tub at the house which was wonderful. And we had a chef come to cook a meal for us. We will definitely be back."
