Welcome to Four Bears Lodge!

Welcome to Four Bears Lodge — the perfect mountain getaway in Tahoe Donner! This charming and stylish cabin is the perfect retreat for families and friends. Nestled on Northwoods Blvd, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds: the convenience of a prime location and the tranquility of a private, wooded setting just off the main road.

Enter the home into the main great room space. The great room is furnished with a large sectional couch, a framed gas fireplace and dining space for 6 (extra seats available). The kitchen is open and bright and offers plenty of counter and storage space. A large deck is accessed through a slider door off the dining room.

Journey down the hall of this single-level home to the bedrooms and bathrooms. A primary bedroom with queen-size comforts features an attached bath that includes a walk-in stand-up shower. Additionally, two more bedrooms are offered; a second queen bedroom and a kid's bedroom furnished with a full under twin bunk. The second shared bath is equipped with a bathtub shower combo.

We love the layout of this cabin! Other highlights include a flat driveway, level lot and a generous two car garage with an air hockey table.

Tahoe Donner is a premier mountain community near Truckee and Donner Lake, offering over 6,000 homes on 7,000 acres with diverse property options and first-rate amenities. Donner vacation

We had a wonderful stay. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Well equipped and easy access. Just the beds were hard and not a lot of air circulation and a warm July night.

We enjoyed staying in this dog-friendly Tahoe Donner vacation home. It was comfortable and nicely apportioned. We really appreciated that all the windows and slider had operational screens and that there were free-standing fans available! Many of the homes we have rented have not had screens (to allow for afternoon cooling without attracting moths and mosquitos in). We also appreciated access to the garage to store our bikes safely. The only comment is the vacuum cleaner was non-functional -- it had no suction, so it was just pushing things around the floor. Thank you and we would definitely consider renting this house again!

Winter getaway

The location of the cabin is great, it's very centrally located. The cabin itself is very nice, the only negative is the mattresses all were extremely uncomfortable. No one slept well during our stay.

Tahoe Donner Gem!

My family just had a great time staying at the Four Bears Lodge. It is located in the Tahoe Donner community and is very easy to access off of the main road. The cabin is cozy and clean and has everything you needed for a winter getaway. There is a nearby ski area and winter park for all snow related activities. In addition there is a rec center available nearby. The cabin has a guest pass that enables a discount at these locations. Since the cabin allows pets, we brought our two dogs, and they had a blast playing in the snow. I would definitely come back and enjoy this property again.

Good house for family

We enjoyed our stay and located was good! A few things could use property managers attention!! Kitchen needs more forks and spoons! Paper towels were not stocked! New pillows would be nice in master bedroom. Screen door did not slide well and front door lock needs to be fixed.

Great Location

The house was adequate but a bit worn down. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Rest of the house needs a deep cleaning (example: behind the couch it was very dusty and had not been cleaned for years). The furniture, bedding, pillows were just OLD. The bunk beds were fun but the upper bunk could not be trusted to a 14 year old, as it sagged under his weight (and he is NOT over weight). The deck needs a gate so our dog had to be on a leash outside. NO decent deck funiture such as a table and chairs. Garage was more modern than the house; in the summer the barbeque needs to be moved to the deck. Just a heads up: the heating vent next to the sliding doors to the deck is not secure. My wife tripped on it pulling it out of the floor, fell and broke her collar bone. That should be fixed; it was a fluke accident but put a big crimp in our vacation.

Family and dog friendly

Amazing spot. It was a private spot where we had enough space for the dogs to feel free and us to play in front of the cabin. Will be coming back in the future. Highly recommend

I really enjoyed relaxing in this cabin. Even though there are cabins around, it feels isolated. The kitchen had everything required to cook, even down to the oil provided. There were also plenty of towels, shampoos, lotions as in a hotel room.
