Only real hiccup were ants in the kitchen and dining room area (the ant traps that were available did not seem effective). The host tried to assist and was very responsive so that earned some good will. Not dropping a star for the ants, but now that the issue has been identified, hopefully future guests can simply enjoy the awesome place!"

"We truly loved our stay at this house. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. The only thing missing is a water kettle, but there is a small pot that works just fine as a substitute.We didn’t use the grill or the hot tub, so I can’t comment on those. What really stood out to me was how organized everything was, the kitchen, the bathroom, and especially the storage/laundry area. Even though it’s a storage space, it was impressively clean and not dusty at all, unlike other places we’ve rented before.The owners provided laundry soap, and the washer and dryer worked very well. The house is literally a 5-minute walk to the lake, which was a big plus. There was plenty of snow in both the side yard and backyard.Our pets especially enjoyed bird-watching from the window above the couch. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we would happily come back."

"Pros: cute, quiet neighborhood. Really cute decor inside with most of what you would need in a house if you were going to cook, etc. Very spacious and was stocked. Fenced backyard was really nice for the dogs to roam safely.Cons: before our arrival, we were told that a bathroom sink was backed up but we never heard back from anyone. By the time of our departure, the toilets were backing up too. The stove didn't have any spark as it was not working. We had a lighter thank goodness."
