Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach but I think we figured it out after a few days. Reliable cell service is back at the Orwell Creek Road turnoff, for those wondering. "No heating in the room. Two heaters in the room and neither worked. Heated towel rack didn’t work. Took a few minutes if running the hot water before any warm water came through. There were cups, sugar and a kettle in the room but no tea bags or coffee. Walking through the hotel from our room to the breakfast area the hotel was freezing. The Hanmer Springs Hotel is not a hotel I will ever recommend. "
