"Wonderful place to stay. We needed alternative check in/out times for our travel schedule, and the staff was very accommodating. The cabin (cabin 8) was warm and very clean, including sheets, towels, floors, bathroom… all of it. Hot shower with good water pressure. The only (very minor) inconvenience was that most of the tv channels were out, possibly due to snow on the satellite dish. I can’t wait to come back in warmer weather to take advantage of all the seasonal amenities!"

"Getting to the unit was not the easiest as it had a flight of about 7-8 stairs to go down and then a boardwalk to walk on to get around and to the front of the unit to get in. Definitely not handicapped accessible. The inside of the unit was dated, but clean. It looked like new carpeting had been put in recently. A couple of lights were burned out, but maintenance was able to fix that. Biggest complaint was the air conditioning. Daughter-in-law said that the downstairs bedroom was very cold, but...

"We couldn’t check in until four in the afternoon and had to be out by 10 in the morning on Sunday, and so even if you have two nights you feel as if you only had one day. The price was rather high for just one full day…. And two nights . It wasn’t on the lake but It was a clean and a decent rental unit."

"Our friends and kids enjoyed the weekend at this beautiful, luxurious and spacious cabin with all the amenities needed to enjoy lake life. The cabin views were incredible, beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all the supplies we needed.The hosts greeted us at the cabin to show us around and were very quick to respond and communicative before, during and after our stay. They provided supplies for s’mores which was a hospitable touch. The house is very, very nice- with fancy furniture...

"Twelve of us (7 adults and 5 children) stayed at Starry Pines for one week. Very beautiful and spacious house on Lake Margaret which is more quiet and secluded yet has nearby access to main Gull Lake through a channel that also has Zorbaz and Bar Harbor restaurants and a marina that rents pontoons at a reasonable price. We had a great time in the water by the dock, fishing,

and a large fire pit area by the lake. Host is very responsive. This house has it all. We already booked our week...
