"The location was excellent, the lake serene and relaxing. The cottage pictures were probably taken a while ago, but still reflect a comfortable place to get away from busy schedules and demands of city life. We tried fishing from the dock, unsuccessfully. Didn’t use the kayaks and canoe available because there isn’t a ramp or launching pad, though there is the one a mile away, if you can strap the kayak to your car’s roof. "
"We had a wonderful stay! The owner was incredibly responsive and informative, even offering access to extra amenities not listed in the description—like the two-person kayak and a Blackstone grill, which was a great bonus for meals. The place itself was spotless, spacious, and the bed was super comfortable.While fridge space and indoor cooking options are limited, it wasn’t an issue for us as we didn’t plan to cook much—and the Blackstone more than made up for it! The neighborhood is peaceful and safe, just what we were looking for. Evenings on the dock were a highlight—so relaxing to watch the fish jump in the canal.Amazing value for the price, and the location is perfect—just a short drive to Rainbow River, Crystal River, and several nearby boat ramps. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend this place to friends visiting the area!"

"This property was just absolutely perfect for us and our two teenage grandsons. It was in a quiet and peaceful area that was perfect for sitting outside in the mornings with a cup of coffee, the large live oaks with their Spanish moss hanging down added to the tranquility. Nice area to relax after a long day of visiting Crystal River, kayaking or going to the beach. Everything is just 10-15 minutes away except the beach which is a half hour drive. The host, Brian, is great and took care of any small issues we had quickly and pleasantly. This amazing little hidden gem really made us fall in love with the area so much that we're now thinking about moving there. We also had great TV and Internet and everything we could have needed was there for us to use. I'm sure we'll be back for another visit soon but without the grandsons to further check out the area. Thank you Brian for everything!! We really enjoyed our stay! "
"We loved this place the view from back porch was amazing. Fishing the lake can be a task unless you know or someone with you knows the lake but a short ride to the springs and crystal clear water. Definitely would stay here again. "
