"First, be aware that you need to follow ALL of the signs that say, “Runchee.” Your GPS/Apple Maps/Google maps will NOT take you to the hotel/B&B. Parking is easy. Find the place is not. Breakfast: if your idea of breakfast is bread and butter, coffee and cake, then you’re in business. Don’t expect a real meal. I paid in advance and the lady running the place chased me down to pay for my stay. Mistakes happen."

"This property has some very good assets. It also has some issues that need to be resolved. The location on the north end of Lake Como and the short distance to transportation to the rest of the lake is awesome. But we tried to get some information from the owner/manager on our first night and it turned into a fiasco. The manager got angry with me for asking simple questions. "When you check-in to this comfortable little hotel with an Italian flair, the lovely and endlessly helpful Bianca will be waiting for you. Let me just say it straight out - she is GREAT! Very welcoming and no problem is too difficult for her. She gets everything set-up quickly, is full of information that she is ready and eager to share to make your stay more pleasant, and she solves any issue one might have with efficiency and a smile. My wife and I happened to arrive with a potentially huge problem, and Bianca fixed it in literally 5 minutes. We are so grateful to her. Additionally, her colleague, a young man also working Reception, seemed like a friendly person, too, who was eager to help. We didn’t get to interact with him too much, but when we did, he was very accommodating, as well. So upon arrival, before we even saw the room, we were already satisfied and happy. The room was comfortable with a stove and refrigerator, which we didn’t expect, the bathroom was big enough, and there was even a little balcony (we didn’t use it, though - too cold outside). So we were pleased and do recommend this hotel. Bon voyage!"
