"I went to Homer to see the birthplace of my Grandmother. The hotel was only one block from the downtown square. The manager was friendly and helpful, but the hotel was in bad need of renovation. It served my need, but could not recommend it for longer than a one night stay."

The motel is old; I remember when it was built in the late 70’s (or so). It is adequate basic accommodations for Homer and surrounding towns.
It’s sad to see once vibrant small North Louisiana towns like Homer in Claiborne Parish dwindling in size, population, opportunities, and retail/restaurant options. "
