Step into a slice of heaven with this fully renovated property that's perfect for family reunions or other gatherings with fun for all ages! Multiple areas to relax inside and out, while being just a few steps from the shore of picturesque Lake Pepin and a short drive to the beach.

This 3,600 SF property shines with high-end finishes across the spectrum. Relax in the giant great room with a 70" smart TV, play video games on a huge sectional in the basement, kick back outside under the pergola or retreat to the master bedroom for some R&R — there's options for everyone with plenty of space to do your own thing.

The main floor has three bedrooms with two king beds and a queen. The basement features two more queen beds, plus a double bed with a trundle stored underneath. Utilize an inflatable queen to sleep up to 17 people! The home includes three full bathrooms, plus a half bath off the main living area, with an oversized water heater to minimize issues for large groups.

The fully stocked kitchen features stone countertops and stainless steel appliances — including a gas range! — plus everything you'd expect in your own home. A Keurig and drip coffee pot are provided to get you going in the morning!

The crown jewel might just be the back yard. Located just outside the heated/cooled 4-season porch is a beautifully landscaped area that includes two seating areas with a fire table and two grills — gas and charcoal. There's plenty of green space for activities, but a tall privacy fence allows for casual conversation to run late into the evening. The front patio also includes privacy fencing and multiple seating options.

While Lake City is filled with outdoor activities during the summer, this property was built to shine in any season!

Perfect! Perfect! In every way!
Felt like we were at a resort. The house was completely stocked and beautifully furnished. The beds were very comfortable with extra pillows and blankets if needed. There was a formal and informal dining area for 8 or more. We used both. The outdoor patio and landscaping was so beautiful! We admired all the plants, groomed yard and how clean everything was. It is a must stay!!!!! Thank you from all 8 of us!!

This is one of our favorite properties! We go on a friend vacation every year with 7 adults and 5 kiddos and this house is perfect. It has plenty of space to spread out if needed or kids are napping. There is tons of table space for meals and games. We love the big fenced in yard. Brett is such a wonderful host! Attentive and really cares that the property has everything you need! The house is so well stocked- we have been here twice and will rebook for next year again as well! Thanks for a lovely weekend!!!

The place was great set up with everything we needed. We really enjoyed hanging out by the fire. We did run out of fuel, and were thrilled that a back up was in the garage ready to use. Our only complaint was that the 2 basement bedrooms have no doors, are really one large rec room. As we were there with multi family group we were counting on having a little more privacy.

There were 9 of us gals that stayed(Red Hat) group and the property was very nice, impressed with how spotless the place was and accommodations were great for our size of group. House well stocked with what you need(kitchen/bath etc) The Host, Brett, was wonderful to work with and addressed things immediately if we had a question. We met the cleaning gal, and she was wonderful. Very happy with our stay and the house. Highly recommend!

This house is a gem to stay in. It has a great layout with plenty of room to spread out in and sleep. There are great gathering places outside, also. The house is just about anything you need. Can't say enough about this special VRBO! 10 of us grew up together in Plainview and were looking to be close to our roots! Our connection to Lake City was an easy fit and finding the Garden Street Retreat was perfect! This house is amazing! After over 10 years of renting VRBO homes for our annual Sibling Weekend, this house was #1. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. We are a group of 6 so we had plenty of room at the table which was a problem with past rentals. We enjoyed the sunroom and outside space. Brett was very prompt when questions were asked and checked in with us periodically to ensure we had everything we needed. He has thought of so many details to make our stay enjoyable. There was even an EV charger for our vehicle!!!One suggestion to make the house even more handicapped accessible would be to add railings to at least one entry point to the house. We had a great stay.

Great BIG gem in Lake City!
My family and I immensely enjoyed our stay at Brett's place this past weekend! The location is fabulous and just steps away from the water and boat launch on Lake Pepin. It has LOTS of room and a great backyard... and is VERY clean! Brett was on the ball with communication and was an easy text message away. There were 14 of us friends and family who all got to celebrate our friends who are getting married. This space and house was AMAZING and perfect for all of us. We loved sitting out back on the patio in the evenings and all of us girls having a special brunch out in the sunroom. Brett is outstanding to work with! He is so accommodating and checked in with me periodically to make sure we were having a great stay. The location is so close to the public boat launch and we enjoyed many days out on the lake. Amazing property! Pictures don't do this place justice. 1 block from the lake. Spacious and Beautiful. Up to date, totally remodeled. Nothing in this home has not been well thought out and finished to perfection. Cannot say enough about this property. You will not be disappointed. 2 huge outdoor spaces to enjoy and plenty of room to sprawl out and enjoy one another indoors as well. Walking distance to so many restaurants, bars, boutiques, art shops, cafes etc. We absolutely loved it.
