The property was awesome, the people trying to sell time shares were bothersome and ended up costing me extra 200.00 for nothing. Not happy with Marriott ocean beach club at all !!!

My room was a very basic hotel room. Nothing special at all. The staff at the Marriott though were incredibly friendly and very available. Loved the grounds and how easy it was to walk to Whalers Village. Beach was lovely,.

Marriott Kaanapali
The property grounds are great and probably the best for families. Rooms are clean and what you would expect from Marriott. My only negative is that the Ka’anapali Grille and Tap Room was terrible. The service was bad and the food was bad. We ordered drinks, appetizer, and entree at the same time. We got the drinks ~25-30 minutes after we ordered and just before our entree arrived. The appetizer arrived at the same time as the entrees arrived. My wife's entree was missing garlic bread and it took ~10-15 minutes to get the bread. My best friend's family is a owner of Villa timeshares and he confirmed that the Ka’anapali Grille and Tap Room is terrible and they will never go there. So in all, great property for families but stay away from Ka’anapali Grille and Tap Room as there are many other better options.
