Lovely place!
Rochelle has thought of it all! Clear communication, awesome resort amenities and thoughtful cooking items for those who like to make a few meals at home. We loved this location and proximity to the town and great food options. It is on the small side but has everything. Rochelle was quick to assist when we had some tv trouble which was awesome. Amazing view and great location
We really loved staying here. The view from the lanai/bedroom was the best part for us, with the breathtaking mountain dramatically close. The unit was a bit dated but has everything you need. Shops and good restaurants right next door and a short walk to many more.

Absolutely Perfect!
We have been Maui travelers for many, many years, and each year we find a resort to stay in that was different than the time before. Each and every visit, we find ourselves dealing with crowds and challenges everyone finds at the larger resorts. However, this time we found a studio with a kitchen to stay in, and it was fantastic. First, the owner does an amazing job of stocking her places with everything you would need for the trip, including chairs for the beach, beach towels, games, etc. The place itself is older and is scheduled for an update, but to be honest, we spent so little time in the room that having it renovated wasn't even a factor. Everything was clean, neat, organized, and ready for our arrival. The refrigerator was the perfect size, and the kitchen itself was well stocked. Check-in could not have been easier. The clerk at the front desk knew the rental and quickly had us checked in and on our way to our room. All the staff at the Lahaina Shores Resort were friendly and knowledgeable. The beach behind the resort is small but never felt crowded or busy. Location, Location, Location. This place is a ten-minute walk from downtown Lahaina and the harbor. We didn't need to drive to dinner or to go on a snorkel trip as everything was nearby. We will be back. We can't say enough amazing things about the location or the owner. Such a fantastic trip.

Not my first stay at Lahaina Beach Resort... it's always my first choice. The location is awesome and the staff is friendly and awesome! And a great place to view the spectacular fireworks for New Years!

Location and property is amazing!!!
The unit itself is dated, but it easy to overlook that because the location and the property are so breathtaking. We loved having the option of swimming in the pool or hanging out on the beach. The shops and restaurants were walking distance to the condo. We can’t wait to come back ❤️❤️❤️

Just Book It!
This was our third time on Maui, seventh time overall to the great state of Hawaii. We have always stayed in homes within neighborhoods. This was our first stay that was hotel like and it did not disappoint! It is practically situated in a neighborhood anyway. So, in a way I still had the local neighborhood feels. It’s located at the end of the busy Front Street, except it never felt busy and it was just a couple of blocks from the action. The room we stayed in was immaculately clean and we found it better than the pictures. The Mountain View was gorgeous! We watched the sunrises from the balcony in the morning and the sunsets from their beach. It felt nice to not have drive to catch a sunrise or sunset. Rochelle was an excellent host and helped me with some decision making for things we were looking to do. The price for the room was very reasonable given the property, so you better snag this room while you can!

So Beautifully Quiet
Beach front or Mountain View - are ideal as you awaken to the quiet that isn’t found elsewhere. Walk next door or choose to go a few blocks to shops and happy hour plus every imaginable ethnic food. Lounge chairs at the pool are plentiful and hosts at the front desk are very helpful. Location and Quiet-great for vacation!

Rochelle was an amazing host! She is very knowledgeable not only about Maui, but about the other islands as well. She gave us amazing recomendation what to do, the communication and care was perfect. The condo is as good as in the pictures. The best part for us were the mornings. Birds and sunrise will wake you up (if you want - you can also keep the doors and blinds shut) and the view of the mountains is beautiful. We had coffee every morning on the balcony. The resort amenities were even better than we expected. Although we spent much of the time exploring Maui, we also enjoyed the resort pool and spa. The beach in front of the resort is also great - there was a sea turtle swimming with us! We also enjoyed the fact that there was laundry on the same floor as the condo and it was possible to pay with card. We will definitely return to Rochelle's condo!

Better than the pictures!
This condo was better than the pictures! You can walk to all downtown Lahaina has to offer, and you can enjoy nightly sunsets on the water from the hotel, without all the commotion that you would usually get from a resort zone hotel. We would stay again:)

My husband and I have stayed at Lahaina Shores multiple times due to its great location. It is walking distance to shops and restaurants and the price is very reasonable. The unit we stayed in this visit had a gorgeous view of the mountains and our VRBO host Rochelle was top-notch! Our room was a little worn and dated (we were warned of this in advance by our host) but was clean and comfortable and suited our needs well. Our VRBO host has other updated units in the building that are options for future visits. I will be back again!

Cute room, great location
Walk to the beach or Lahaina's main strip from this cozy room! Stayed here with my partner and when we weren't out on the beach or enjoying the town, we had a lovely time watching clouds catch on the mountain top from the comfort of our bed. Rochelle, the owner, was incredibly friendly and accommodating! She went out of her way to give us all kinds of great suggestions and even to facilitate an early check in. We would absolutely come stay again next time we're on Maui :)

LOVE THIS PLACE!
This resort is very pretty. You walk through the main doors and are greeted by friendly resort staff and a gorgeous view of the swimming pool with the beach as a backdrop (you can walk right onto the beach from here). The room was very clean! There is beach gear available for use (chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels, etc.). We often use our reusable water bottles and there was a Brita water filter in the fridge for us to use (+ ice in the freezer). If you have a chance, take a look at the back porch at sunset. The colors just light up the mountain beautifully. All in all, a wonderful place to stay. Rochelle has been great to us! Super responsive and very helpful

I enjoyed my stay in this accurately described unit. My two tweens and myself felt comfortable in the unit, with one of them sleeping on a provided air mattress. It's probably more comfortable for 2 people, but we were fine. I really enjoyed the view of the beautiful West Maui mountains. The owner is very easy to communicate with and encourages you to reach out to her with any questions you may have. I wouldn't hesitate to book this or any of her other units in the future.

It is a unit that has not been reomodeled and is not comparable to my other three. But then it is less expensive. I definitely agree that it is more comfortable for 2 people than 3. The air mattress is far more comfortable than the cots or rollaways that we have tried in the past but there really is no great solution. So few studio units allow 3 guests that I wanted to make the allowance if I could. I would love to have you stay with me again! Thank you again! Aloha, Rochelle

Great view of mountains. No ocean view unless you went to courtyard downstairs. Unit is very old and it shows. Kitchen was ok. Tub had some mold. Bed was comfortable. AC had a smell.

Aloha JoDee, I am glad you liked the view of the mountains. It is my favorite thing about this unit. This is described as an ocean front due to the position of the building with regard to the beach. It is not an ocean view. I am glad you found the bed comfortable. It is something I have easy control over and believe is very important to travelers. I am sorry the unit overall did not meet with your expectations. I try to make it clear in both the VRBO description and in the one that I sent to you personally, that 616 has not been remodeled. It has had some things replaced such as the kitchen cabinets and carpet. Due to the fact that the unit is dated it is less expensive than my other units in the building. After this review I contacted the maintenance personnel regarding the AC. Apparently it was an issue within various parts of the building for a few days due to something upon which they were working. I am sorry that it coincided with your stay. As to the tub. The caulking became stained with a petroleum product to which a long term guest had a daily exposure at work. It has been bleached repeatedly but will not return to its original appearance. I assure you it is not mold. It will be replaced as soon as there is a long enough break in my occupancy. I do appreciate your review as it allows people to have a realistic expectation of the unit I hope you found the other unit in which you stayed better suited to your needs. I also hope your visit to the island and your friends at Lahaina Divers was enjoyable. Aloha, Rochelle

From the moment i sent a request to reserve, the host was very responsive and helpful. I was traveling alone and she provided me with all types of recommendations. Lahaina Shores Resort Stay
We stay here at Maui for 5 days enjoying the Hawaiian Culture and the people. We experienced beautiful weather, birds of all types, and stores with plenty of cute clothing to gaze upon. We took excursions on a submarine viewing the coral, seeing three sharks. Also we saw two different dolphins large and small. Hawaii takes care of the wild life of the sea. Great location and property. Even greater host.
We loved our 4 day stay at this place near Front street. It's a very spacious located very conveniently on Front Street, so we were able to walk everywhere to get food whenever we needed. The view from the balcony is absolutely gorgeous and I loved sitting there and sipping some tea/coffee while reading a book. It's also located right on a beach, so we took advantage of that and went swimming a couple of times. It's better to have water shoes for this beach because there are a fair few rocks. Rochelle is definitely one of the best hosts I've come across as she sent us loads of information on things to do and see and is super quick to respond. I accidentally left my winter jacket at the location, and even though Rochelle's not on the island, she was fantastic about making sure I got it back. The check-in/check-out process is very smooth and parking is easy; there's laundry on every floor and we took advantage of that as well.

Great/quiet location for stay in Maui
We spent a few nights here during our trip to Maui and it was very nice! Rochelle is a very helpful host! She sends you great information about the area (what to do, where to eat, etc.). The condo is walking distance to a great area with tons of restaurants and shops! It’s got a pool and beach access. Not much more you could ask for! Would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Rochelle!!!
