"Beautiful hotel. We had a double bed room with sofa bed and balcony. The room was so spacious with a roomy bathroom as well. We loved having two TV's in the room since we had out two young children with us. The hotel had a resort style pool and Bar Louie attached to it directly in front of the beach. It was very easy to transition from beach to pool or viceversa thanks to the showers and seating areas all around the pool and Bar Louie area. We liked the DJ's music and drink selection from the bar. The cafe next to lobby was super convenient for early morning coffee and pastry runs. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family and would definitely return! Highly recommend this property."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn South Padre Island Resort so much and that was in great part due to the staff. I can’t say enough about the young lady at the front who was very helpful the whole stay or about the servers during breakfast. Everyone was very accommodating and it was bonus to the fantastic family pools and fabulous hotel side beach. Would definitely stay here again!"
