"We had the best time staying at HV Cooperage B&B. Gay and Warren were perfect hosts, so friendly and there to help with whatever we needed. They even let us check out late at such short notice. The breakfast both mornings was amazing (sorry I couldn’t finish all my pancakes, Warren!). "Wow wow wow what a fantastic spot. My room was perfect.... the bed was so comfy with high quality bedding better than any I’ve ever had in any hotel the little cottage was amazing instantly felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was left in the little kitchenette to enjoy at your leisure with delicious eggs and fresh bread. I’d highly recommend this little place and hope to be back very soon. Everything was so wonderful. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for peace and quiet book this house. No phone reception and far off the main roads will give you the perfect escape from the city. We even saw a wombat on our night stroll. What a great experience. Our dog also loved running around the huge property. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed here for one night at the weekend with my baby girl, husband and 2 couple friends. The house was amply spaced for the 7 of us, it had everything we needed including oil, coffee, a lovely selection of tea. It’s the perfect comfortable base to the hunter region. I cannot recommend this place enough. To top it off, communication with Jodie the host was quick, easy and hassle free- overall a great experience and we’ll cherish forever."

I was a little disappointed that there was very small tubes of shampoo etc for two person stay over two nights and a request for fresh towels seemed to be an extra forty or so dollars. I never mind paying for accommodation so long as I don't have to supplement basics like shampoo or fresh towels, particularly as the nearest shops are about twenty minutes drive away. "The cabin we stayed in was very well equipped for a girls weekend. It was clean and the bed were comfy. The staff at reception are lovely and being so close to the shops is really convenient. Only issue we came across was that the paths to the cabins weren't lit very well to drive at night, even the lights that were around weren't working. Otherwise it was a perfect weekend and I'll be looking at staying again. "
