River Retreat in Cuchara Valley

  • Cozy "River Retreat" situated directly on the Cuchara River. Cozy furniture, beds, bedding. Rustic decor. New and modern kitchen appliances. Nearby hiking trails, fishing, lakes, rivers. Quaint downtown area with seasonal events. The Cuchara Valley is a stunning representation of Colorado. Snow peaked mountains, colorful Aspen trees and abundant wildlife. While house is rented we will not be there. We are available by phone if anything needs attention. The downtown area features The Dog Bar, Cuchara Yacht Club, Timbers Steak and Spirits.    General store, miniature golf and rec center. 12 miles to historic town of La Veta. Surrounded by mountain trails!  The newly reopened Cuchara Mountain Park has farmers market, local bites and seasonal lift for cross country skiing and sledding.  

    New fiber internet service!  Work remote with high speed internet.
