"We arrived later than planned and had good communication with the site via emails. Great accommodation for families with the use of a kitchen and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I had to make the beds up when we got there and there were no towels although shown in the photo. The pool facility is great but as with most french swimming pools they have strict regulations. My children loved the animals. We only used for a 1 night stop over which suited our needs. "

"Comfortable, clean hotel with great staff except the parking attendant who, on our arrival as I was unloading our cases from the car, told me I could not park in front of the hotel and must move it to the car park several metres away, which I intended to do once checked in (code is required fro reception top enter it). His aggressive nature was a poor welcome to the hotel but fortunately was in direct contrast to the very helpful and welcoming reception staff."

We were a little co fused as the pictures shows all rooms in both properties but were told when we got there we were having the pool house as well for nothing. But the pictures for the listing included the pool house bedrooms. Anyway Darina was awesome and nothing was an issue. "I will give a balanced review because there was lots of great things about this property and some areas for improvement.The property is very large and spacious, both living areas and bedrooms and bathrooms. The grounds are extensive and a very appealing pool which is heated. The kitchen is well equipped and great for catering for large groups.The areas where there is room for improvement would be the annex house, the ground floor is unfinished , while upstairs has lovely bedrooms and bathroom the lower floor is still under construction, please be aware if traveling with children it may not be suitable. The other area is that some fixtures and furniture is past its best and in need of replacement. The outside table and chairs, wooden sunbeds and lounge sofas are rather worn. One of our party inadvertently sat on a bed and it broke the same with the sunbed, when we pointed this and a loose stair railing to the host we were met with some hostility. If you run a holiday let expect some accidents but if maintenance is neglected then they will perish. We overall had a great week and explored the local area. I think with some upgrades it could be amazing"
