"This is a wonderful resort. We stayed for 2 weeks and the first week was excellent. The second week we needed to change penthouse suite as there was something wrong with out jacuzzi then the second penthouse suite we couldn’t use the jacuzzi as you would get a shock as soon as you touch the water they showed up right away to fix it. But as soon as we went to use it it would shock again. So we never had a jacuzzi for halt our stay. "

"The staff are incredibly nice. The grounds around the resort are kept clean and maintained. The rooms are spacious, clean and well stocked. There something for all ages to do there. The pools are very well taken care of. Everything was great I will definitely be visiting again!! "

There are two resorts named excellence about 15 minutes apart and we didn’t know we were at the wrong one until after our driver had left. I think the staff should not have been surprised and may have prevented the confusion at the gate. But the rest of the stay was incredible! "

"The room was very clean, the salad bar options were great and so was the omelette station at the outside breakfast buffet. David entertained while cooking multiple orders at the same time. The pool was nice and active, but we preferred the gorgeous beach. We saw almost no seaweed, the sand was soft and the water was warm and a beautiful turquoise color, especially when the sun hit it. A lot of the staff were very friendly, especially in the outdoor breakfast/lunch restaurant. The restaurants were nice. It was fun to get dressed up, servers good and decorated very nice. The food was hit or miss. One appetizer would be good, the other not so much. One entree really good, the other not good. Overall, we enjoyed the restaurants though. We highly recommend the Luxury Ambar and can’t wait to go back!"
