"The staff is amazing the property luxury I will be there more times"

"This property had everything I was looking for. But I am a simple man. I want a comfortable room, great food, friendly staff, a well stocked bar, and access to water (pool and/or beach) The room was very nice. Not too big, but accommodating for me. I slept like a baby in the bed. There is a nice sitting area with a table to relax in, and a decent sized balcony that overlooked the pool. I sat out there everyday! There are two restaurants: The Merkado which is their buffet restaurant and The Fish House is a bit fancier and only for dinner with reservation. I loved the variety of foods they offered in the buffet. Obviously a lot of Latin dishes, but stuff you don’t see normally. Lots of fresh fruit and breads. And a chef preparing specialty meats and eggs to order. The staff were very friendly. Always with a smile and a “hola”. My issue was I don’t speak Spanish and it made it difficult to talk with them. But honestly, if you have a basic understanding, you can get by like I did. There were a few of the upper staff who knew I spoke English, made a point to check on me throughout the week which made it more special for me. There was some construction going on around the area and yes you can hear pounding and other noises. But it didn’t take away from my experience. The construction may be finished in a few months of this review anyway. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation. I had a great time!!"

"A hidden gem in Manzanillo! Casa Romero exceeded my expectations — clean, comfortable rooms with great air conditioning, access to the kitchen, pool, and excellent service. The owner and personal maid were kind and always available. Also nearby, Las Ramblas Center offers a great variety of restaurants — very convenient and perfect for dining out. Highly recommend! No se dejen engañar por el entorno. ¡Casa Romero es un tesoro escondido! Una hermosa mansión, una habitación amplia y limpia, una cama cómoda, aire acondicionado excelente, piscina y una hospitalidad increíble. ¡La empleada doméstica y la dueña hicieron que mi estancia fuera perfecta!"

"The property is at a beatiful location and in excellent condition. The apt furnishing however could be improved: a regular coffe maker would be great; a cork screw to open a wine bottle is missing. The A/C units are excellent; however the remote controls are NOT intuitive and there are no instructions or guide to help. The units apparently provide a programing option for temp which the nex visitor may not agree with and would like to remove... Similar comment applies to the M/Wave in the kitchen,,, a handy guide would make it easir to use.. The water mixer in the hand basin has some kind of problem and erratically leaks at the counter top, dripping to the floor... If unattended for a long time could lightly flod the bathroom. The shower is nice and roomy, but misses an anti-sleep rug and though is a hazard .. The reservation procedure for the steam room and the 'beach-tent' delivered by the security guards can be contradictory and confussing.- a written page would be easier and less confusing. "

"What a wonderful time I had at the apartment that I rented. It was quite pleasurable to have a pool and two Jacuzzis at my disposal. Additionally there is access to the balcony from the front room and the bedroom."

"I never check in the taxi driver did not want to go down the road to hotel. He said it was dangerous and advised me not to stay the I had to stay at a different hotel. Try to contact someone at Expedia several times. And was not able to. The worst customer service ever this is the 2nd time I booked on this site and the same problem. Did not get my problem resolved and lost my money. You guys just robbed me Worst experience. "

"The property was well maintained and clean. The manager was helpful. The portal to invite guests was weird, it says you could, but you couldn't. Really nice pool and beach area. The bar and restaurant were not completed and during the day you could hear construction. All in all, really nice apartment and property."
