You will have a key to your room, but to gain access to the compound you will need to ring the doorbell each time you come and go. My Spanish is limited, but I knew I had to pay cash upon arrival. "Hotel was basic. Somewhat run down. Our room was large and accommodated us- we were a group of 7. I believe it was overpriced for the amenities available and for the type of room. Pool was being serviced and unavailable."
