"I was in Mazatlán and I came across this property. There was no days blocked off on the calendar for the days I chose to stay so I booked it. I paid just shy of 2900.00 and after the payment was accepted the host messaged me and said that I cannot have the house as there is already people staying at this house. Well I booked this house on December 3rd and because I booked it within the 24hr time frame I couldn’t cancel. So I have been back and forth with VRBO about this issue. It is now December...

"The preferred setup was fantastic. The ocean front rooms and the outside tub were special. The room service was a tad slow but worth it. The spa extras were reasonably priced but the hydro massage was not worth the effort. We don't golf but there were many golfers staying there and the course was beautiful. Golf carts were at a premium. "

"The staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly. The hotel is kept meticulously clean. Constantly mopping/cleaning by staff. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel has beautiful grounds - flowers and trees. The food at the a la carte restaurants was very good. The buffet was ok. It could use an upgrade. The weather was perfect and the beach nice, but we will never return to Mazatlan again. At least not to this hotel area. The CONSTANT banging coming from bands from 12:00 - 8:00...
