We have stayed at other Riu resorts and were pleased that Emerald Bay lived up to our expectations. One nice feature is that all the rooms in the tower are ocean view without having to pay extra. The beach was nice and the pool areas had something for everyone. The water park is a nice feature also. We enjoyed the buffet options best but the snack bar was always a good, convenient option. Staff was always helpful and worked hard to keep the common areas clean and inviting.

The hotel itself is very clean the cleaners are constantly cleaning up after guests and bathrooms. The food was excellent and the drinks 🍹 were amazing. We enjoyed the beach, spa all amenities. Most of the staff were friendly. There were Afew that were not. We had an amazing time as a group of 4 an would defiantly go back.

Room was excellent and clean, staff was great. The buffet was very good, lots of variety, however the al a carte restaurants were disappointing.

Riu Emerald Bay is very clean, well maintained and excellent food choices. The older rooms have a deep tub to step in and out of, so ask for a newer room with a shower if you prefer. The brass bands on the beach can be a real spoiler if you want a relaxing holiday. This resort is also a distance from the city itself, be prepared for that too. But the beach is lovely and weather perfect!

Really enjoyed our time here at the resort. Found that it was very clean. The room was OK. The mattress felt springy though. And I would’ve liked the flatter pillow. The air conditioning was a bit loud as well. I know that’s tough to work with, but it was something that my wife complained about a lot. Food was good. Staff is very friendly!
