"A good no nonsense place to stay. It has all the necessities you need and a huge amount of choice for breakfast. The gardens around the property are nice and the pool would be a real bonus in the summer. The staff are friendly and the propietor spoke excellent English and was a really helpfull nice chap. I was very glad I found this and would stay again if in the area. I didnt know how to rate the Eco freindlyness as i dont know that, so a mid 3stars. "

"Great ovetnight stop for a motorcycle trip , supermarket 5 mins away , resturant was really nice , bar on site , only thing i would say is no cvtv in car park but bikes were fine as it is in really nice area "

"This is a really nice place to stay. Located in a small village close to nature with a lovely riel overlooking the river. A nice change from my normal stays at the normal hotel chains. The host was really nice and service minded. "

"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. "Beautiful old chateau. Very comfy beds. No one around when we arrived. Had to wander the grounds looking for someone to check us in. We were offered a soft drink when the lady finally arrived. Never met the owners during our two days stay. We presumed they must be on holiday. Previous reviews were not the same as our experience. "
