Ideal location for visiting the western Loire area, but there is lots to see in Angers itself. The castle is a must, as is the Apocolypse Tapestry in the castle. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the hotel.

"Comfortable bed and the kitchenette was adequate for small snacks. Close enough for the city centre. Underground carpark with about 25 spaces but costs extra. Staff friendly and helpful. Some noise from the nearby railway line but NOT so much as to disturb sleep (we had the window open as it was hot weather. No air-con but the hotel had provided a portable fan. "
