The area is very big for walking and riding bikes. Staff is kind and helpful. But it’s difficult when no one can speak English. The food is nice. We’ve visited 3 swimming pools, they are clean and comfortable. Also they have some different levels which are good for adults, kids and even bebes :) We really loved the quiet modern suite. But the showers are awful, it’s so hard to use them due to it splashes in different directions. I can recommend this hotel to my friends:)

The villages and the food are great, as well as the service. However, the place DOES NOT have a beach, you need to go to a restaurant, 5 mins away (driving) to have access to the beach. The food there is part of the all-inclusive plan and the service is OK but it's not of the same level. This was a surprise for us.

Avoid this place like the plague! Although it looks nice, clean and modern in the pictures - it is at once both new and a bit run down - broken door knobs, dirty furniture and towels and the hardest bed pillows I’ve ever slept on. The management and reception staff are hapless and incredibly unhelpful. They charged us twice because they claimed that what we were charged on Expedia was just an authorization. When I asked for a copy of the receipt for my records - surprise, surprise - it couldn’t be located even though I had just signed it and the receptionist had just placed it under the counter. Very luckily a very authoritative Spanish speaking guest forced them to take it out from beneath the counter and told me to take pictures of all the pages. I’m so glad I did because both charges went through! Thank goodness Expedia issued us a refund after we called and explained the situation and provided the photos of the receipt. The location is in the middle of nowhere quite a hike in off the highway with no beach access from the property (you have to take a hotel shuttle to their beach restaurant in Bucerias but you’re only eligible for the free shuttle if you buy food or drink at their beach bar which has exorbitant prices in comparison with the neighbouring restaurants on the Bucerias beach strip). The beach access at the B Nayar location is private and you cannot access it unless the owner of the particular apartment that you have rented has subscribed for access and paid year

Very disappointing
Very disappointed in my villa stay. Seemed this facility is suffering from mismanagement. They were short staffed during our stat, villa was not ready for check in and left a little dirty from housekeeping. Two air conditioning units were broken, one toilet had no running water and the lights in the private pool were not working. Not an all inclusive experience as the outdoor pavilion cut ties with the hotel

The hotel room looks nice and new at first glance. Then I realized that it’s quite dirty and already getting run down. The hotel suite came with a kitchen but no cutlery or dishes. There is only one restaurant nearby and it played obnoxious music very loudly. The pools were dirty. The suite had towels, hand towels and bath mats the first night, but after it was ‘cleaned’ the next day, we were left with only bath towels. We are not travelling by car, so the only way into La Cruz is by cab. I’d prefer to walk but there’s no convenient route. The wifi was down for a few hours the second morning. So, I really don’t recommend this hotel.

WARNING!!! This is completely falsely advertised. The facility is NOTHING as it appears to be in the Expedia photos. There is ZERO beach access for guests. The beautiful photos of the pool areas and beach club are completely unavailable. Instead they shuttle guests off to a filthy restaurant on a dirty beach in bucerias and call this "the beach club". The food is inedible. Drinks are completely watered down. We were given 4 tiny towels for our entire stay! The kitchen has not even a glass or a plate so if you wanted to buy groceries and prepare your own food you would have to fully equip the kitchen yourself. This facility is run in a completely unprofessional manner. There is not a person at the front desk ( if you could call it that) that speaks a word of English. There was no one that could communicate with us and Expedia was of no assistance in helping us either. We will be pursuing recourse with Expedia as this booking was booked under COMPLETE false pretences. Do not book at B NAYAR.

I reseved the suite 7 for 2 nigths for 6 adulta and 2 lisa, the 1st nigth we end up having water issues. Luckily they fixed it just on time for us to take showers on do other things. They gave a late check for the water inconvenience. Other than that it’s decent resort. Not a lot to do, besides the private pool on our suite. The other pools and the beach. Thanks Claudia, Angel, Paco and Alfredo for helpings us during our stayed at B Nayar.

The food is the worst I’ve ever had! The villa was sooooo disgusting. There was garbage on the floor and stuffed in the sweaty butt stained couch. After we complained, they sent a cleaning lady in for the entire day and it still wasn’t clean! There were other peoples toothpaste splatters all over the faucets, big hair balls around the master bathtub and it’s covered in slimy dirt, ants crawling everywhere. The bath towels are all stained. We ran out of water pressure one morning and they couldn’t explain why and got offended that we were mad. The patio door is ready to fall off the track and smash into pieces everywhere. The beach is terrible; small, horrible sand and no activities. WAY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR WHAT YOU GET. Definitely do not do all inclusive. They can’t even make decent pancakes.

Entire room was DIRTY VERY DIRTY , sheets were not changed prior to us arriving . Food is incredibly DISGUSTING cold all the time , portions are kids size no joke . Got the all inclusive and very much regretted it we ended up going out everyday and eating outside the hotel after the 2nd time we tried it Rooms are very outdated with holes in bathroom , Trust me when I tell you it was extremely dirty and very minimal lighting in rooms and baths . half the Staff is rude ! We had no water for an entire day couldn’t shower or use restroom . Drinks are watered down soooo much and the little alcohol they have tasted like rubbing alcohol seriously they were not enjoyable whatsoever . Worst resort I’ve ever been to i can’t say it enough I am so extremely disappointed ruined my entire vacation. Can’t believe I wasted my hard earned money on this circus ! Nothing but regrets.

Got a villa with private pool for 6 of us with all inclusive option. There were blood stains on the wall and pieces of the wall was peeling. Towels had rips in them and they were no longer white, they were gray. Our private pool wasn’t clean at all and all of 4 days we stayed they didn’t come once to treat it. We took out a bed sheet and laid it on the pool to soak up the dirt layer on the water. Went under the maintenance hole to figure out how to turn on the jets of the pool and add more water ourselves, because nobody speaks English. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE FOOD. I have never had this consistently disgusting food in my life, as if they were trying to serve bad food on purpose. I’d prefer McDonald’s or Costco food over this. DO NOT EAT you will be sick. There was a kitchen so we wanted to hire a chef to come cook for us but there is no pots and pans, dishware or silverware. There was a construction right next door and a dozer would wake us up at 7am (5am our time). They didn’t provide a COVID test, or knew where we could supply ourselves with one. The best thing they ever did was to get us a taxi to leave the place, we had to go 4 hours before our flight to ensure all of the Covid tests were handled which basically turns a whole day into a travel day. Won’t be back, will do my best to let my friends know they won’t fall for this trap. This taught us one thing, don’t look at overall reviews and look at the most recent reviews instead. This place is in ruins post covid.

The worst experience ever. We have stayed in many hotels in Mexico and have never encountered such unprofessional service & disgusting accommodations. I read all the negative reviews prior to booking but like always I believed that not everyone’s taste & expectations will be the same. Well I was fooled this time. We thought we were staying in the newer hotel tower as the photos showed those rooms. We were put in the older hotel, rooms 105 & 305. The rooms smelled like sewage, many things didn’t work. The rooms weren’t fully equipped or checked before we arrived things like no dishes, cutlery, coffee maker, a microwave that works, garbage cans, wifi didn’t work, sheets & towels looked dirty & stained, light bulbs burned out, dead batteries in almost all the remotes for tv’s, a/c & ceiling fans, the wood planks were lifting on the patio floor which was a tripping hazard for our grandchildren, and much more. We spent 4 of the 9 days trying to get all these things fixed which was another problem. All the employees didn’t speak or understand English so we had to wait until the front desk supervisor (Lilly) was on shift in order to get things done. The so called room service was a nightmare, again communication problem. The food at the hotel was awful. Fortunately we went to the Mega store & did our own cooking which was challenging because of the lack of supplies in the kitchen. The maid service was inconsistent, some days no clean towels. Don’t recommend this place.

Could be/should be a 5 star resort, but it’s barely a 3
We arrived and security would not let’s us in the front gate. Really?! The front desk did not have our reservation and ALL the reservation people we at lunch. Really?! The apartment was nice, but the kitchen had no coffee cups and only 1 pot. Really?! I forgot to bring my vacation cooking set. The complex is huge. I asked if there was a map - nope! Really?! Food at the restaurant was a 2.5 out of 5. Try the NY steak and you’ll see what I mean. The coup de gras was when we checked out and they told me (for the first time) that our wrist bands were 900 pesos each if we did not return them (we tossed them in the room). This place is a management and training train wreck. Otherwise it could/should be a 4-5 star resort.

The only nice thing about this place was my view from the room . I had problems since I checked in. To start expedia wrongly converted their money and I was charged more than expected, the food was NASTY the drinks were WATERED DOWN, we couldn’t get water after 10:30 pm and our water wasn’t working properly the ENTIRE TIME, amenities that are listed aren’t available at the property management was rude and didn’t want to help us at all I will NEVER stay here again they have 1 star service don’t be mislead by Expedia’s ratings. overall a really bad experience !

Worst customer service imaginable
We had a paid in full reservation at this hotel through hotels.com and expected to show up and get a room but instead of this we got denied entry into the hotel. We were told we needed extra money for our children even though they were correctly listed and paid for in our confirmation reciept. We stayed at reception 5 hours trying to get them to acknoweldge and respect our reservation and they would not. They told us it was our fault for booking through hotels.com and that we shouldn't have used that site and because we booked with that site we owed them more money if we wanted to recieve our reservation. Our email confirmation and proof of fully paid service was denied by them. Hotels.com worked with us as much as possible but we never had cooperation or apologizes from the staff at this hotel for the huge ordeal they created. Narda and the recpetion at this hotel didn't care that our children were suffering in the heat outside the hotel. They didn't care at all about the huge price we had paid to stay at their hotel they just wanted to scam more money out of us. The silver lining is only that we had booked with hotels.com and they helped us and validated our reservation and the fact that we did not owe this hotel more nor did we deserve this treatment. We ended up lucky to get a better hotel last minute elsewhere. What a nightmare this treatment and this hotel were. La cruz de Huanacaxtle is great but we highly recommend avoiding this hotel and their scam treatment.

We were kept waiting for 2 hours for a room in nearly empty hotel/resort. We were given a very nice 2 bedroom suite on the first floor overlooking the roadway when they easily could have placed us in one of the very many empty rooms facing the beach. The place was like a ghost town but they put us in the worst room in the building because we received such a great rate through Expedia.

The private pool and how close it was to the large pools and beach. Food in restaurant was good as well as room service. Checkin was supposed to be at 3. We waited more than an hour an a half after that. When got it, the maids were still making the beds. There no towels at all. We called several times and after 4 hours and lot of frustration we got some towels. The main door was horribly squeaking, the main AC wasn't cooling enough, the wifi was not usable most of the time and door downstairs is not lockable.

Its a great property with alot of potential however, they need customer service training desperately in front desk for checkin, (make the guest welcome and explain what your reservation and or package consists of, directions will help) overall they have a diamond but need alot of polishing to get the natural shine.

We booked the penthouse for a family of 6. The rooms were spacious and clean. My family enjoyed the pools and friendly staff. We recommend Hotel B Nayar for family with children. Breakfast was amazing.

Mixed Bag but Overall Good
Great unit. Overall facility had a very peculiar set-up. There are several buildings on a huge property with only intermittent landscaping. Big dry grassy areas with no buildings. I assume more construction is in progress. Our building was only 3/4 finished but our condo/unit was great. Very modern and comfortable. Floor to ceiling windows. About a 7 min walk to the beach and to the beach club. Private pool for each building and ours was great and had Restaurant Taho as a part of it. The beach club was less nice. Fine but more for families and kind of loud with fried food and a more basic menu. Beach is fine not great. Protected and calm but no good for body surfing. A plus is that the local market (during high season) is a short walk on the beach from Nayar B and it's a ton of fun with a lot of lovely locally made merchandise and delicious food.

This was a new building and probably we were the first to stay in our room. The power was off at the panel and the hot water was off. The room was in great condition and we enjoyed the layout. Great value. There was construction on the next building next door so if you plan on staying in the room or by the pool, there is a reason for the price. The nearby restaurant was excellent and the staff was even better. Had breakfast there twice and two lunches. Great group. The experience at the beach club was a big disappointment. Had dinner there one evening. We checked and discovered it was ran by two different groups. The quality of the food was different as well as everything else. We only stayed for two nights. For what we needed, it worked well.
