While it took a bit to figure out how to send my checkin luggages (one being a snowboard carrier) transported via Yamato Transport to KIX airport, the staff helped a lot filling out the forms for me and made sure the luggages would arrive the day I checkin for my flight. Public bath was a much needed amenity and same with washer/dryer. Needless to say, the room was comfy but maybe on the small side if there’s 2 or more travelers. Transport to various sights was most convenient by bus.

Exactly what you’d expect.

This hotel is comfortable and nice. However, for those foreign tourists, be aware that in Kyoto you have to pay extra tax when arriving at your hotel, this isn’t clearly outlined by hotels.com which I think is extremely user unfriendly. Be aware, we had to move rooms due to a cockroach in our hotel room, but the staff were helpful and moved us to a bigger suite which was kind.

-I don't like see through door toilet. -My room's next to the railway, it's very noisy. First train woke me up at 5:30 -Too many noisy Chineses walk and talk at the hallway at night time. -Public bath is Narrow and small space. Lay out is very terrible, locker is next to the sink, crowded time there's not enough space even stand up and open locker.

The staff were wonderful, and the room was clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night but wished we had booked a longer stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent and absolutely worth it. The location is very convenient, with a bus stop right outside and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

朝食ビュッフェの受付の際、時間が過ぎてるのになかなか案内されなかった。ビュッフェ自体には満足しているが、利用されてる方のマナーが最悪だった。横入りは当たり前、取ろうとしてるのに場所を譲ってくれない、料理越しに席に居る人と会話している、料理に違う料理が混ざっている。 受付の外国人の女の方の接客は丁寧で気持ちが良かった。

細かい所で清潔感に欠ける

お部屋のトイレの掃除がしっかり出来てないのか、アンモニア臭がしてました。フロアがタイルで目が黄ばんでいて磨かれてないなという印象。 トイレのドアなど、しっかり閉められるタイプではなかったので、細かいところではありますが、掃除をしっかりやっていただけたら次に繋がる気がしました。 あと、大浴場ですが、黒カビ赤カビが酷かったです。毎日たくさんの宿泊客で清潔に保つのは大変ですが、もう少し気を配っていただけたらと思いました。
