Great value

Very spacious room (BKK level gosh) and good value (honestly also BKK level), plus superb location (close to all sorts of transport and shopping area, yet still tranquil enough at night). No complaint and definitely my choice for another Kyoto trip.

Very cute, the room looked very different from the pictures, but we enjoyed our stay. Went here for our Honeymoon they left us a flower and a note, which we appreciated, really liked that they had room service and breakfast even if you didn’t have it included you could pay for it. Loved all the toiletries they provide and the pijamas. Thank you

Great upscale hotel with excellent staff. Large rooms with very nice bathroom with top of the line Toto toilet. Located in walking distance to Daimaru Dept store, and many quaint restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was excellent. The housekeeping staff and hotel desk staff were polite and helpful. I would definitely book this hotel again.

We stayed in different hotels of Nikko through out Japan, thus so far this was the oldest/dated facility we came across. We had 2 rooms for 2 nights. Beds were super uncomfortable and it was a pain to spend 2 nights at this hotel. We wanted to cancel our last night of stay, but hotel would not accept it. Walking to busy area was easy. More on the quiet area of town but nearby the shopping district. Many newly built hotels in Kyoto, we would definitely pick another hotel when we revisit and not be coming back to this hotel.

Hotel lobby was very grand. Our king room was spacious and clean but in need of renovation. We ate in the restaurant twice and each time it was very good especially during the Happy Hour. Getting an English newspaper every morning was a nice touch.
