Great hotel. Room size was bigger than regular Japan hotels. Comfortable and roomy for 3. Walking distance to many attractions. 2 min walk to Nishiki Market. Staff was great. New and clean Hotel. Thank u for a super great stay. I will definitely stay again.

Our initial letdown upon seeing this small hotel was completely turned around, as we discovered its many good qualities (great staff, cleanliness, efficiency, simple but comfortable lounge, proximity to many restaurants and the Nihishi market, etc. I would recommend this hotel.

Located in a quieter area of Kyoto but still walkable to bus stop and metro station. Close to good cafes and restaurants. The room is clean and you are offered matcha on arrival of good quality.

It can be quite a walk if you have heavy luggage to the hotel but the location is amazing with shopping and food close by. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend - star hotel of our honeymoon!
This was by far my favorite hotel during our 2+ week honeymoon. Very eco-friendly with nice amenities and lovely staff, this hotel had a nice calming vibe, decent sized room, and was a great location. It made our next hotel stay almost upsetting. The toilet was separate from the shower, which was nice, and we loved the pajamas. I can't stop raving about the pillow, which I think had buckwheat in it. While we would have liked a better view, everything else was just superb. Cannot wait to go back for another stay.

Lovely property, would stay again and highly recommend. Very good location and super friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are nice and big, very clean. The only downside is the tiled flooring in the bathroom, it's the type of material that stains easily and looks very hard to clean. Due to the texture, it looks dirty even though it probably isn't.

The hotel was conveniently located, with easy access to many tourist spots. Hotel was very clean, staff was very attentive. They offer you a fabulous tea as a welcome, and the coffee shop located in the hotel has extremely good options.

The location of our hotel was incredible - walking distance to so many great shops and restaurants, and convenient to get to all the sightseeing spots. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again next time we visit Kyoto.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quiet while being close to transit and very walkable to restaurants. The staff were very kind and helped us with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend and come back to stay.

The rooms are spacious compared to others we stayed in, in Japan. They appear to be newly renovated and feel quite luxurious. The beds are very firm. A big negative for me is the fact that the windows are completely covered with a translucent film, so even though the light comes through the film, you cannot see out. This may or may not bother you.
