"Staff were helpful and friendly, but we only spoke in Japanese so not sure if they accommodate guests from abroad very often. Food was ample and tasty (traditional Japanese foods) and served in the privacy of the room. Pillows are traditional Japanese style (small and somewhat hard) so I would recommend bringing your own pillow if you prefer a larger and softer pillow. Website is not clear, but rooms have sinks and toilets, but the bath (onsen style) is shared. Ample parking and great...

"Our stay at TOU was truly relaxing, the hotel condition was excellent, everywhere was neat and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful, they shared great recommendations of ‘must see attractions’ delivering unique and memorable experience of Kusatsu Onsen. We had the half board, stayed 2 nights there, the dining experience was amazing, great food, well-decorated dishes and polite staff. Our highly recommended stay at Kusatsu."
