"We stayed in the annex of the main property. It’s a very Classical Japanese room. The room was spacious and we enjoyed the private onsen. The manager is super nice ( but it’s useful to speak a bit of Japanese). He drove us to the main building for dinner ( and try the other onsen). It is also easy to go to the main street by foot. Dinner and breakfast were very copious and typical of riyokans. "

But the staff informed us of the early closing hours of locals restaurants and izakaya, and they booked tables for us at both, which was very helpful.
