Me and my wife are regular guests of the hotel since before my wife is pregnant. During the pregnancy, we need to visit QE every week so choosing Eaton is a no brainer. However, the service is getting worse each stay.
Couple of months ago, we were having buffet there, we were the first to arrive so there were lots of seats available. They assigned us to a table that literally the worst seat you could give to a pregnant woman (Tight space and far from everything).So I requested if we could be assigned to a table that is close to the food counters, more spacious, better chair. The staff ignored us without giving a reason. We had to go to the manager to get the table we wanted. I really don't know who they are saving the tables for, if they are reserved they could of told us, not ignoring us?. Food were nice I will give it to them.
About rooms, since I am a Gold member, I should be entitled to VIP access like complementary drinks and free room upgrade if available. I don't always get them. I am fine if there are no rooms available for upgrade, I like the hotel so I don't mind booking higher tier rooms.
Booked this Cabin room, smell of the toilet was unpleasant. We called the front desk about the situation, they then gave us an upgrade. We appreciated for their prompt action but if there were upgrades available, why do we have to complain to get them? I still have faith in the hotel so this time I booked a Slon. Trash and spilled drinks when we arrived. Very disappointing
