We arrived close to midnight, completely exhausted but the staff were brilliant, letting the kids sit with them while we parked the car, giving them each a drink and then helping us lug our bags to our very clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable room. "We just got back from Crete. The Royal Belvedere Resort offers various pools, dining and recreation options for couples and families. We really went for the Olympic 50 meter swimming pool. We swim laps and this was a challenge as our regular pool is 25 meters. Also we went a little off season. Food was good and plenty of it. We also took a taxi to the Old Hersonissos village and walked back. My wife had a great time shopping by the beach area shops. We will go back."

Only problem we had was when the air conditioning went off and we were told we had to pay for it even though it had been on for 3 days since we arrived and on their website it says air conditioning FREE. The restaurant was lovely the pool was quiet and the housekeeping was useful. "
