"Excellent location, beautiful surroundings, atmosphere and great staff. The receptionist and staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely and great first impression of hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The price value was great. Just a few steps from the train station. I will definitely be back next year. "Coffee and macha machine at reception was available for most of the day. There was free priobiotic drink from 8 - 10 am. There is the public onsen from 3 pm - 5 am. The onsen has a water dispenser, cotton buds and pads, moisturising lotion, hair brush. You can take a free ice cream stick after your onsen, and use the massage chair (1 is spoilt, 2 are always in use). Half a ramen bowl, and drink dispensers are available for supper 9 - 11 pm. The drip coffee packet provided in the room is good too! They provide hairband, cotton pads and buds, comb, shaver, toothbrush, shower cap, and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the room. You will have to take off your shoes before entering the hotel, and the luggage's wheels will have to be cleaned before it can be rolled into the hotel. You place your shoes in a locker. So you will feel that the hotel is very clean. I liked the full range of services and that it felt very clean. What I didn't like about it was that it was always crowded with tourists, and I am not sure if the onsen are kept clean by them. I come out of the onsen smelling slightly of chorine, even after showering. I might prefer to go to proper onsen towns which are less populated."

"The best hotel at which we have ever stayed. The location in the Kyoto Station was ideal for navigating the city. The room was spacious, well appointed and clean. Would recommend for anyone visiting Kyoto."

"We have had a pleasant stay in Mitsui Garden hotel.the hotel lobby is decorated in gorgeous Japanese style. Room was clean, modern with all necessary items, Bed was comfortable. The service was outstanding. The hotel is located in the center of Kyoto within 5 min walking distance to market, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. If I ever come back to Kyoto I will stay in this hotel again."

"Fabulous location, easy walk to shopping, dining and subway. Good breakfast buffet, well appointed rooms. Only fault I can point out is the hair dryers had very little power and the shampoo made my hair very frizzy! "
