" Very nice. The sunset restaurant on the beach was never open but we soon learnt that it was not part of the hotel. Boat trips were available but as they were expensive they were regularly cancelled on the day of the trip. Internet availability was awful. It was very slow and you had to sign in to each area of the hotel you were in. Each sign in only lasted a day so a bit disappointed really. On site Hotel

"Although sold out with a wait list, they would not refund my emergent cancellation 8 days ahead. I went in person to cancel because they wouldn’t even answer Expedia’s attempts. "The big problem is, it's part of a huge Chinese tour operation now, so any peace and quiet goes out of the window. Was greeted with "nihao" at check in, constant announcements in Chinese, it's just not a pleasant experience. we left a day early because of it. I guess if you are Chinese you will love it here. The resort itself is nice, the pool is nice and the staff who do speak Thai are friendly. "
