If you are looking for an island vacation away from the crowds and traffic, Koh Kood is great and Shantaa is a great place to stay. Rooms are luxurious with private open air bathrooms, and a great restaurant. Swim in the pool or ocean right off the hotel grounds. Staff are kind and friendly.

Fantastic island resort, so peaceful and relaxing the water is virtually coming to the door in the mornings. Staff were very helpful and catered to our every need.

The gardens leading into the villas are beautiful, they have walkways winding past hanging orchards and numerous water features, the foliage is dense and gives off the effect that you are in a manicured jungle. The villas all have thatched roofs, AC, ceiling fans, incredible bathrooms with outstanding soaps, bath scrubs and salts, your own private pool. . Delightful gardens, very authentic environment in the middle of a fishing village. Very accommodating, friendly and helpful owner, excellent service provided.

Amazing place from the first minute of arrival. The staff were great, the beach was crazy beautiful and the room very large and comfortable. Food was excellent quality, you can also have a tab and pay at the end which is very handy.

Fantastic upon arrival. Pla at reception was brilliant, organised taxi,ferry tickets and transport to Pattaya.

Pool villa is fantastic! Happy hour at the beach bar also great & lovely staff. A la carte menu in restaurant is pricey (as expected) but not particularly exciting and opted for the buffet dinner instead which was surprisingly brilliant

Nice hotel in a beautiful beach. I’ve stayed at a Mermaid room which was clean and comfortable. Good wi-fi in the room but there was no international channels on tv. Good staff and ok breakfast. The only negative was the lack of service and food/drinks options to order at the beach. And if you don’t reserve your beach bed very early you won’t get one later. Many people just leave their towels to “reserve” a place for the whole day, even if they are not using it which is very annoying.
