"The staff here were so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and modern, and the beach was absolutely stunning. However, the resort is built over a mangrove and the smell at times is unbearable. Maybe the time of year we were there? It is also very isolated which means peace and relaxation, but also you are not immersed at all in local Thai culture. This resort may be great for some tourists, but not for us."

"I had a wonderful stay at A-Na-Lay Resort Koh Kood. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow right on the shore, and waking up to the sound of the waves every morning was magical. The room was cozy, clean, and perfectly placed for a peaceful holiday. Special thanks to Terk at the reception — always kind, welcoming, and ready to help with anything. And a big compliment to Nam, the waitress, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. She made every meal feel warm and personal. The atmosphere, the staff, and the perfect beachfront location made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!"

"Sämsta stället vi haft under alla år i Thailand, detta skulle jag kall övernattnings Road house. Detta är inte en "Resort". AC-vatten som rann ner i sängen, läckage under handfatet, all dusch och vatten från handfaten rann under stugan ner i mangrove träsket bakom stugan. Nästan ingen kan Engelska, det är som Thailand för 25 år sedan. Halvdan frukost inte samma sak dag från dag. "

"What an amazing place. It’s the furthest resort but it’s worth the extra 15/20 mins car journey. It’s a small hotel so you are looked after very well by the staff who are always on hand. Children are welcome too. The food was amazing. Every night we had something different and all was great tasty food. Price for a curry and rice is around £6 so not pricey at all as some other reviews say. There is also a local restaurant behind the hotel that serve local food too at half the price of the hotel for those looking to eat good food for less money. We travelled with our 16month old baby and one of the nights he was quite ill with a cough. the hotel organised a car for us to go to the hospital within 10 minutes of asking. we saw a doctor at the local hospital whils the driver waited with us and took us back. Luckily all was good with baby. We stayed in one of the delux villas which was amazing, spacious and more importantly, spotless and clean. Beach is lovely with the river flowing to the side of hotel which is crystal clear water as is the sea. Beautiful spot. We loved it here the 5 nights we stayed and would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and be looked after. Can’t wait to return."
