"Our stay at the Obelisk Nile Hotel in Aswan was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. We came to Aswan as part of our Egypt trip, and this hotel ended up being one of the highlights of our time there. The location, food, atmosphere, and especially the staff made our experience truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our entire stay. Everyone we interacted with was willing to help, answer questions, and make sure we were comfortable. It was the kind of hospitality that made us feel like guests rather than just customers. The hotel is located right along the Nile, which gives the property a beautiful atmosphere and makes it a great place to relax after spending the day exploring Aswan. One person who really stood out to us was Hadra. Hadra was absolutely amazing and deserves special recognition. He was extremely kind, welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and always made us feel comfortable and welcomed. If you’re visiting Aswan and want a hotel with a beautiful Nile-side location, great food, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere, Obelisk Nile Hotel is definitely worth considering."

"Great hotel in the heart of Aswan. I was welcomed with a hibiscus tea and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and modern. Located right next to Aswan souks as well as a few restaurants with English menus. Very happy I chose to stay here."

"Our stay was good. The air conditioner in the main bedroom of the suite stopped working on our last night. I tried to adjust the temperature but was unable to cool down the room. The driver that they have is great. Very knowledgeable about the area and other cities in Egypt. I highly recommend using the driver service they offer as it is more safe to use than taxi service."

Special thank you to Miss Reham, guest relations manager, Felo from the Admin team, Mohamed from the night reception team and the wonderful Mr Waleed from the restaurant. I loved my stay so much that I extended for an additional three days."

"The place is on Elephantine island, you can only get there by ferry. The cost is minimal around $ .70 for a one way. The island is way quieter than the mainland. Make sure you are expected upon arrival, signage is limited."

"Beautiful location with easy access to the ferry terminal. We were met by Gamal and brought across to the island on his boat. From the moment we met him Gamal went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed and more. We learnt much from him about the Nubian culture and people and we have great respect for him. We would lovee to return again. The next day we hired Gamals Felucca and spent a wonderful day and night sailing the Nile. Breakfast was delicious and there are great restaurants for the evening just next door to Ana-Ka too."
