THE CHAMPION of Blue Mountain is in SAUGERTIES - close to restaurants, family-friendly activities, beaches, shopping and nightlife. It is located in a peaceful country setting on protected land. This vintage 1960 Champion mobile home is freshly renovated with modern comforts. It has good light, a brand new comfy bed, a cheerful kitchen, a built on enclosed porch with screened windows plus beautiful views of the woods, a stream and a pond. Deer, wild turkeys, hummingbirds and other wildlife may visit the property too! A great getaway space for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers. It is located in the Blue Mountain part of SAUGERTIES just a few minutes from the village and is about 15 minutes from WOODSTOCK, KINGSTON, HUDSON, CATSKILL as well as being close to many special HUDSON VALLEY attractions and activities. THE CHAMPION is near OPUS 40, New World Home Cooking restaurant, The Catskill Animal Sanctuary, The Woodstock Museum, George J Terpening Sr. Memorial Park, and other popular area attractions. It's a wonderfully romantic and fun place to stay that has internet access, super fast WIFI, Netflix/Roku and a DVD player. Coffee maker and coffee are included also. The spacious porch is an added bonus for watching the horses, relaxing with your favorite beverage and for enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. The place is recently redecorated in Modern/Contemporary style with new appliances. All bedding is new and is covered in new hypo-allergenic cases including mattress, box spring and second bed. Easy access to The Garlic Festival, The East Durham Irish Festival, The Woodstock Farmer's Market, The Strawberry Festival, The Catskill Farmer's Market, The Taste of Country Music Festival, The Mountain Jam, Maverick Concerts and H.I.T.S. on-the-Hudson. Centrally located for destinations in Ulster and Greene counties as well as Dutchess, Orange and Columbia counties. The perfect setting for lovely Spring greenery, gorgeous Summer flowers and spectacular Autumn foliage! THE CHAMPION is close to everywhere that you want to be! (We cannot accept any reservations that begin on a Sunday as we have no housekeeping services on Sundays.) Living room couch folds out as another sleeping space. Extra linens provided upon request to use the second bed for an extra charge of $20 per set up. The Champion is not disabled and wheelchair-accessible. About ANIMALS: The hosts suffer from severe animal allergies. We often clean the space for guests and we frequently use the place ourselves. As such, we can only welcome human guests to our house to preserve our own good health. Regrettably, we will not be able to accept any reservations which include pets or animals because these animal allergies are a health and safety hazard for us as and can cause us to suffer serious, long term health issues.-No reservations with a check-in on a Sunday will be accepted.  - Not suitable for hunters, sportsman and fisherman.- No smoking inside or on the porch. Smoking outside only.-QUIET HOURS are between 10PM and 8AM.-Do NOT walk around the property or into the woods. Please stay in the immediate area of The Champion.-Local laws prohibit parking on the street, please use driveway for vehicles.-Due to severe allergies, we cannot accept reservations with animals. The property is protected and monitored by the EPA and other agencies. No dogs (or other animals) are allowed to be walked on the property or in the neighborhood. Any pollution by animal waste or anything else is strictly forbidden on and near the property as the local streams feed the local reservoir.

A Quirky Fun Abode

This trailer has everything you could need or want. It is super clean and the quality of the linen is excellent. It has all the necessary appliances The location is quiet, except on weekday mornings when people are driving to work, and it is very close to the family we were visiting. The inside decor is colorful and charming. The water is hot and plentiful. The porch is a perfect place to sit and visit with friends. The host supplies information about nearby sites to visit. We had a wonderful stay.

The Perfect Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our rainy weekend in the Champion. Tod and Jeannie were so kind and communicative. We loved seeing the deer, listening to the frogs at night and hearing the rain. We'll be back, for sure!

Serene and lovely place to stay!

My sister and I rented “The Champion” for two nights. We found everything to be very nice. Accommodations were as represented on VRBO. Very comfortable, clean and all information needed for our stay was provided. The property is beautiful with many birds singing in the beautiful trees that surround the Champion. Our hosts, Tod and Jeannie were very responsive while preparing for our trip! No questions left unanswered!

Super comfortable and Kind of Quirky

The Champion is not the usual hotel-like or home-like (for most people) stay. To state the obvious, it is a mobile home. It is certainly big enough for more than one person, but the bedroom is tiny, so you'd better like being close to whomever you're with. The fold-out bed is comfortable, though I only sat on it while watching TV. The kitchen is complete with the basics. The bathroom is sunny and is basically full-sized. The location is off the beaten trail, across from a horse pasture. Traffic is minimal - really only a car or two a minute during commuting time. The location is quiet and bucolic. It is really lovely. If you are visiting the Hudson Valley, it is a beautiful place to stay. It would be much more relaxing than most places, and it is not too far from any of the attractions of the area. The most remarkable thing about The Champion is how comfortable it is. When I got there, after a long day of driving, it immediately felt like home. Everything I need was there. I didn't have to rearrange anything to be how I preferred it. It was comfortable like a pair of slippers when you put them on, and they just feel right. I expect I will stay there again.

Perfect for 2 - Holiday Extended Weekend

Perfect location for exploring the best of the Catskills' region including beautiful scenery, hiking and cute small towns. The owners took great care to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! Very helpful with suggestions on restaurants as well as informative area pamphlets with maps. The place is designed retro which was really nice to hang out with a coffee on the enclosed porch enjoying the homemade brownies that they left us. It does have a low ceiling, giving it that cozy vibe. We are of average height so it was a perfect fit for my boyfriend and I. We really enjoyed our stay, and it was perfect for the extended weekend!

Very cool trailer across from a farm....retro vibe with awesome lime green, turquoise and purple decor....had everything you need for a nice weekend away (bed, pull out couch, TV, internet, kitchen, in wall air conditioner, fan, etc) plus delicious welcome brownies left by the hosts. Lots to do in the area...including restaurants, shopping, art and nature....Easy check in and check out....

the Challenger is a wonderful funky and cozy place to stay with a perfect, quiet location between Saugerties and Woodstock. the owners are friendly and incredibly responsive and the property has everything you need for a weekend away. i would stay there again in a second.
