Beautiful home close to everything you need!
We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. The layout was perfect for us to be able to spend time together on the main floor while doing different activities. We walked to the beach and playground just a couple blocks away, enjoyed the hot tub everyday, and had fun playing the snow outside. They had everything we needed to cook, relax, sleep, do laundry, etc.. We would love to book again!

Music to my ears! Thank you for the thoughtful words. I agree the open Layout upstairs lends itself to everyone being able to interact, yet have their own space. The beach near and having a playground for the littles make the location something we appreciate too. Indeed we hope to host your family again.

I have never stayed in such a well-equipped and well-supplied vacation rental before, and the little things really do matter. We are grateful for such a kind and thoughtful host. The home itself was also even better than expected. The listing photos don’t quite do it justice—even though they are nice photos.

Great Property and Location!
Great location a few blocks from Kings Beach shops, restaurants and the lake. Very nicely kept property with plenty of amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Great stay for our family of 5. Highly recommend this property.

Amazing stay in Tahoe, perfect place for families
We had the best stay here. The location is amazing - walking distance to the beach and playground, 3 min drive to Safeway for all your necessities, 15 min drive to a great free sledding hill at Tahoe Meadows South Trailhead. Kitchen and house is fully stocked with everything you could need. House is spacious and super clean. Beautiful master bedroom and bath, and other bedrooms and bathrooms are smaller than the master but still ample space and just as nice. South Lake Tahoe is about a 45 min drive - we made the drive there for NYE which was fun for hitting the casinos and nightlife but we also could have been just as content enjoying the north side. I would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay for families, small groups, and anyone looking to stay in King’s beach. Communication was excellent and welcoming.

Birthday getaway
This long weekend getaway was to celebrate my husband's 74th and our son's 52nd birthdays and it was a huge success !! We've rented vacation homes, in many states and this one rates right at the top of the list. Exceptionally clean and well stocked with things I didn't even know I needed :) Located just a short 3 blocks to beautiful Kings Beach, we spent a lot of time walking around and looking at the beautiful fall colors, stunning!!!

Amazing Location
The house was perfect for our 2 families with young kids. We were able to walk to the beach and the wagon was so useful in carrying our beach gear. We brought our own SUP but so cool that the house offers one and kayaks (with a signed waiver). The 3 block easy walk to the beach, as well as walking distance to a brewery, several restaurants and shave ice was fantastic. There was some noise from the neighbors but everyone was very respectful past 10pm. The upstairs deck was such a great place to chill out and hang. The kids loved all the board games and the book collection. Tara was very communicative from booking to check-in. Highly recommend for families with young kids as walking distance to Kings Beach was key for us.

Repeat visit - love this gem!
My dad, sister, and our (young) kids had such a fun time at this summer escape! My family came here last winter for a ski/winter adventure, and a return trip here in the summer was just as good if not better! Beautiful location in a lovely home!
We had the best time in this beautiful house that was spacious and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic ..just 3 blocks from kings beach and restaurants. Communication with Tara was so easy and quick and we were delighted by every little detail in the house from extra pool/tub towels to a sweet welcome basket for us! It was so comfortable and our kids had a blast! Will definitely come here again!

Home run
It felt like we hit a home run. I have been renting places every May in the mountains for ten years now. I travel with two of my closest friends. It’s a time for us to pull away rest, relax and recharge. This house by far hands down the best rental we have ever stayed in. The owners took the time to make every detail feel like they were setting up their place for people they care about. From the east access, to a full kitchen. Down to the double ply toilet paper. Tara was available to text when we had questions. The home was clean and had the nicest dishes, silverware, beds blankets. I could go on. If anyone is looking for an amazing home you can’t go wrong with Tara and Michael. So thankful we got a good one.

Perfect for a ski trip with the family
We had an amazing time! The home is well stocked with all the amenities. Plenty of good quality blankets, bed linens, pillows, towels, robes…you name it. The kitchen came stocked with spices, coffee and many of the basics for prepping meals at the home. The large hot tub was clean and in good working order. Easy to access from the main deck. We enjoyed coming back from skiing to a nice warm soak. There were plenty of boardgames to explore with the kids and movies for all ages. Our kids excitedly found sleds in the garage for guest use. Additionally, if we had been staying during the summer, there was a SUP board and many water toys available as well. We loved being able to communicate directly with our host, Tara, who was prompt in her responses and incredibly accommodating. We all would definitely recommend staying here! There are too many good things to list here in one review! The kids are hoping to come back for a summer trip. Most definitely, five stars. ⭐️

Family Wedding
We attended a family wedding in Kings Beach. The Condo was just as pictured and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and spices. We prepared a family dinner with a few friends. There was a lot of snow but the snow removal service was excellent. Great communication with the host. Great House
We had a great Christmas. The house was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 2 little children. It was well stocked, immaculately clean, great location and communication with Tara. And they even put up a decorated Christmas tree… awww! We loved the hot tub, used that every day, so beautiful overlooking the snow laden trees and peaking at the lake beyond. The house is walking distance to the beach, lake, little town with restaurants, coffee shops and a Safeway supermarket. We ate all meals in the house and there were plenty of provisions, pots and pans, utensils etc. We will definitely book again.

Amazing!
We had the best experience staying in Kings Beach. The house was beautiful, well decorated, and spotlessly clean. We especially loved the beyond fully stocked kitchen which allowed us to cook just about whatever we wanted. The gas stove kept us cozy warm on cold winter days, and so did the sparkling clean hot tub! The neighborhood is quiet but has easy access to get to the main part of town. We couldn't ask for anything more!

Forever rental
This is my 4th stay at Golden Ave and I don’t think I will ever need to look for another rental in Tahoe. Tara is a great host, the house has everything I need to have a comfortable stay and the location cannot be beat.

We were all very impressed by this property. It was easy to communicate with the owners. Upon arrival we found so many things in the garage to use at the beach. Knowing we didn’t have to think about towels, chairs or umbrellas was incredible. So easy to walk to Kings Beach or really anywhere!

A walkable home base for Tahoe adventures
This rental provided the perfect home base for my brother's bachelor party weekend. I was stressed out as the best man planning the weekend. But, this two-story cabin was in a perfect location for our outdoorsy group. It's a few blocks from the Kings Beach downtown area and public beaches on Lake Tahoe's north shore. I prefer to walk instead of drive, and everything you need is within a walkable area; including a Safeway for groceries. This rental sits in a quiet neighborhood where dozens of miles of hiking trails are just a short walk away on residential streets. Tara was extremely communicative and thorough with details, including a binder with resources and how-tos. The one inconvenience was the lack of air conditioning on a hot weekend, but they have several fans to cool the second floor. I HIGHLY recommend this place, and I'll be returning once I can get a group of MTB riders for the trip.

Perfect getaway for a family !
We enjoyed our stay so much ! We were only there 2 days with family and cousins, but would have enjoyed more time . Tara , the host, was great at communicating and also giving us great recommendations on where to go and eat ! It was so nice to have a welcome basket when arriving ! The property was very clean, had everything we needed for the house and the beach. They even had a beach wagon and toys for the beach. The kitchen was also very organized and had everything we needed! The location is excellent! It is a short walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach! We did not have to drive anywhere once we got there ! We ate out mostly while there except we did fix nachos one night , played skip Bo cards with the kids, watched movies , and enjoyed the hot tub. The little town even had live music on Friday evening on the beach ! This place is a gem!

Singing the praises of Kings Beach! I completely agree 2 days isn't enough for all the family fun you can have there. I hope to host your family again.

Amazing House!
We loved our stay at this property. It was so nice to have paddleboards and innertubes to use at the lake. The kids loved the hammocks, and we really enjoyed the hot tub and making smores on the fire-pit! Communication was great and we'd definitely stay here again!

Lovely house right by kings beach!
We loved staying here - it was even better than the photos - and the location was perfect right by kings beach. Place was fully stocked, and the owners were responsive. Will definitely stay again!!
