We got into Tahoe super early, and we were able to check-in about 4 hours early after calling Linda. She met with us when we checked in and gave us a quick rundown of the property.
The cabin is well-equipped and spacious for two people. The sink was clogged when we first came in, and Linda came in to fix it while we were out, which was very kind of her. The thermometer is hooked up to natural gas fires around the house, and it made colder nights very cozy. We grilled outside for dinner and cooked inside for other meals while watching some tv. The cabin is also close to several trailheads which we explored over two days. Unfortunately, we couldn't have wood fires during wildfire season, but the cabin has a gas fire pit that we could've used.
We were not allowed to put food or "anything else" down the sink, so we avoided washing dishes. We also would have appreciated aluminum foil for grilling some veggies, but we were fine without it.
Overall, a lovely, quiet, and well-equipped cabin at the edge of the Tahoe National Forest.
