So many things didn’t work. Very hard to communicate with someone that could fix. House was pretty.
For the amount of money I spent, I’m very disappointed. We planned on cooking, but the oven was broken. We saw 4 spiders in 2 days, lights were not working, and tv was not working.

Won't stay here again
House has been neglected; many issues since last we stayed at this house; none of those issues were addressed while we were there even though we were told they were addressed after notifying the rental company, not to mention we did not have any WiFi and were told by the rental agency that the owners may not have paid their bill. Issues: bathrooms and kitchen not sufficiently equipped (only 4 glasses for an 8 guest house, no foot mats provided in tub/shower, 1 kitchen towel, only 1 hand towel in each bathroom, etc.), backyard completely overgrown, decks unusable as they had not been cleaned, no broom provided, living room furniture extremely dirty and badly worn, some chairs so sprung they were not unusable, floor of upstairs secondary bedroom has a severely warped floor. That's to mention only some of the problems. Will not return to this home again. We were not impressed with the rental company handling this house.

Cabin in the woods
My parents, dog and I had a great time at your cabin. It’s a very beautiful place to stay, lots of birds, squirells, chipmunks that my dog had fun barking at and chasing daily. The beds are pretty good and comfortable. The area itself is peaceful and the row of trees by the road just made it perfect for a morning walk. it’s a short distance to the lake and restaurants. The only caveat is that my dog met the mice on our first night. It didn’t bother or show itself again. Overall, it was good!

Just Ok
I read all the other reviews prior to booking and thought we would give it a try anyway. What everyone else says is true. It has good bones, but the furniture is so worn that it is uncomfortable to sit on. We stayed for Thanksgiving, and the knives were dull enough that they were more of a hazard. Such a shame the place has potential. Also, we had a carbon monoxide AND fire alarm go off in the middle of the night. If I had to do it over, I would choose a different place. The neighbors used our trash can and let their dog poop in our yard without cleaning up (not the fault of the listing in any way)

The house was fine. The service terrible. Spent a huge amount for 13 days. 8 people. 3 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels. Internet didnt work. After 2 hours of calling manager, they told me to call cable company. Which was useless as I didn’t have access to account. Then I was told to reset modem. Modem was in a locked closet. Impossible to reach company when hot tub and ice didn’t work. Many other examples. House was fine though. So if everything goes smooth, then you’ll like house. If it doesn’t you’ll be extremely frustrated.

Wonderful location and property
Enjoyed watching golfers from the upper deck, you're right on the green. Cozy house with plenty of space. Quiet and convenient neighborhood. Beds were good, couches only ok sorry to say. Dogs loved the back yard, though one kept wanting to chase birds on the golf green! We'd stay here again.

Loved the neighborhood, lovely house, beautiful view of golf course, great hottub. Yet the amenities inside werent to the same standard as the community and setting. Missing thoughtful touches. The furniture is old & beat up and the kitchen is missing some key things like a tea kettle and more than one hand towel. Overall we were happy to be here.

Great place, spacious but needs a little TLC.
This house was perfect for our group - 2 bedrooms upstairs, one with a king and one with two twins with trundle beds, and a shared bathroom. Downstairs a separate bedroom and bathroom. The living room and kitchen are large and backing to a golf course felt spacious. However the place really needs some TLC. We stayed in the same place two years ago and it needed TLC then and definitely needs it now. There are only 4 spoons in the house, no dish scrub brush, not enough measuring cups (only one 1/3 cup and no others), and no teapot. There are also almost no spices. The air filters were also filthy. We found a replacement for one of the air filters and changed it out, but there was no replacement for the other one. Also, one of the leather chairs is broken and either needs to be fixed or replaced. We would stay there again, but I’m hoping they fix these things before we come again.

Amazing Location!
This house was perfect for our young kids to explore the snow! The layout was nice and there was plenty of snow as soon as you stepped outside. The home needs some minor repairs, there was an electrical boxes sticking half out of the wall in the kids bedroom, the downstairs bathtub didn’t seal and the bathroom doors upstairs were missing the top hinge so it shut awkwardly. The DVD player also wouldn’t play any movies we brought. The kitchen was missing some basics like a measuring cup and a tea kettle, but the charms of the house made us excited to visit again soon! The hot tub was great and there is easy access to everything locally.

In Kings Beach for family wedding.
A few cob webs, a few moths in the closet, slow draining master bath, but hot tub was hot, plenty of kitchen accessories, warm, bright and fun, wifi was a little weak for 4 adults. I would stay again.

Great house, great location
We really enjoyed this beautiful home and loved watching the golfers on the 3rd hole. The house had more than enough dish soap, hand soap, laundry soap, etc. and was as described. The only issue was we dropped off all our stuff and left to get something to eat. When we got back someone was sitting in the driveway and said they were with Vacasa and they were there to do an inspection. She left though without coming in, that we know of, and said it was fine. So that was a little odd. We figure she was supposed to have been there before we checked in and she was running late. Not really sure. But the house was really nice. We will be back.

We only stayed two nights in this is comfortable home. If you’re looking for comfort but not luxury this home fits the bill. It has a good location about a 10 minute walk from the beach. We only cooked breakfast and the kitchen was more than adequate for that. The bedroom where we stayed had a good king bed with adjoining bathroom. It’s right in the golf course which offers a nice view. My biggest complaint was that there was no booklet telling you about the home and nearby services. We could not operate the TV and spent some time searching for fans as the house is not air conditioned.

AVOID
A rental property should be where a family and/or friends come to have an enjoyable and memorable vacation. Everything about this place leads one to the inescapable conclusion that the owner couldn’t care less about whether or not his property contributes to an enjoyable and memorable vacation; he is merely interested in taking your money. Very little, if any, of that money appears to have been recycled back into his rental property. The furniture in the living area was pretty grungy – at least one of the chairs was partially broken – and a couple of the chairs in the kitchen were also partially damaged. Various blinds were broken or non-functional – including the main blind in the master bedroom, which was stuck about half way up the window – and it was apparent that they had been broken for some time (as noted in previous reviews). The dinnerware in the kitchen included mostly scratched and cloudy plastic glasses – some genuine wine/beer/water glasses (available at very low cost from IKEA, for example) would have been nice – and some of the flatware was also pretty beaten up (knives with damaged handles, for example). The gas grill on the rear deck *appeared* to work (after some experimentation), but an inspection of the space below the grilling area revealed a completely broken and filthy drip pan. A hilariously tiny charcoal grill that I half-thought might have come from a child’s camping play-set was supplied as a back-up but, given the use of charcoal up here in the summer is frequently banned (for obvious and good reason), it’s completely worthless, irrespective of size. Half way through our stay, the WiFi went down. Since the router was in a locked cupboard (no key available. Why not?), not even Vacasa’s best efforts to reset it remotely could resolve the situation. The Vacasa rep finally reached the owner who told her that he didn’t know where the key for the cupboard was, and the situation was ultimately resolved by Vacasa organizing a locksmith to come out to open said cupboard so the router could be accessed and the internet reset. Oh, and the hot tub stopped working on day 4 of our stay and had to be re-started as well. I would avoid this place until the owner decides to drop some money into upgrading several aspects of the property, fixing a number of things that are broken and making the rental experience overall a much more pleasant one. You deserve better for your hard-earned vacation and dollars.

Don't expect whats listed or price listed.
Best part is I could take my 2 dogs. House was clean but I did email and ask for a good cleaning. Price was more than double what was listed with all the fees!!! BBQ that is Out of Order for Years and still listed on the site!!!!! A few things I wish I would have known about before hand so I could have prepared and not run to the store constantly: Dishwasher w/no soap. W/D with no laundry soap. 1 dishtowell. 1 dish rag for 3 days. 1/4 roll of paper towell. 1 roll TP in every bathroom for 3 days. no lotion no ice toaster only works on 1/2 the bread. All the dishes were filthy/ greasy glasses and plates/bowls had old food stuck on them , & on most of the cooking utensils and silver ware. Gross!!! I Had to hand wash all the dishes before we used them since there was no D/Wahser soap- House maintanence needed in a few areas: Fridge with no filtered water/icemaker not hooked up & Doors wont close/open. Bed room heavy wood levelers wont open all the way so you have to duck under them to go outside. Back door lock takes a lot of effort to lock and unlock. I ended up using the front door and walking around if I couldnt get it unlocked. Master Shower sprays you with ice cold water when turning on because the door is installed incorrectly. You literally have to stand inside the shower in front of the shower to turn it on!

Perfect for our ski trip
Did a few days skiing and enjoyed the house. A few notes: it could use a deep clean - there was a lot of dust on the blinds and light fixtures, along with a “spice cabinet” that had spilled stuff everywhere. There was also a lot of confusion around the communication of the hot tub being functional due to covid restrictions - we couldn’t get a straight answer out of the management company despite local covid restrictions allowing for hot tub usage. Luckily it was operational. Overall, solid place to stay, but nothing to write home about. A little TLC would go a long way to improving the property.

I have never been a complainer and have never wrote a bad review but here are just some facts: BROKEN HOT TUB FROZEN SOLID even after company telling me it was working and listing stating hot tub, clearly the main attraction. A weird creepy drunk man showing up in back yard stumbling all over stating he was there checking hot tub, filthy house, urine stains down toilets, cobwebs everywhere, human hair all over, mold in shower, dishwasher smelt like rotten fish, freezer/icemaker broken. Completely unsatisfied with VACASAS response to all this. Never heard from area manager I was told would reach out to me. i would not rent this house. Other than great location its a total rip off. Worst rental experience I have ever had.

Amazing Location
Property is in an incredible location right on the golf course and very short walking distance to the beach. The kitchen did not seem well equipped and appliances were in need of replacement; other supplies were not available as well (soap, etc). We were disappointed that we were not notified in advance about the hot tub being inaccessible due to COVID, it would have been nice to know that in advance of our stay. Overall we loved this property and look forward to returning soon.

The property was perfect for our group with 4 adults and 4 kids. We love the backyard and hot tub and the fabulous location. It is clearly a house that is rented a lot. That’s not a bad thing but it was not as clean as others I’ve stayed in. Hair in the bathroom, under the couches not vacuumed, things clearly well used. The sheets were clean so I was happy with that. In the end we would definitely stay again.

ski vacation rental
great place for a ski vacation! the hot tub was awesome once you figured out how the jets worked. the location is really great, the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is spacious. the downside would be the old saggy furniture in the living room... also the place needs a real deep cleaning, you can see huge cobwebs high up in the living room etc.

Overall very good, but could use a deep clean
Stayed for a week in winter. Both VRBO and vacasa were easy to deal with. Our pup passed away before the trip and they refunded the pet fee. We were short a set of twin sheets (but had an overabundance of every other size), we needed a dustpan and extra blankets and within a day they dropped off all needed items. Upstairs bedroom has two twin beds with roll out twins underneath (four total twins). When all four are in use, it is very snug in that room. It did work for our four small kids, but four teens would have been tight. Upstairs master king shares a jack and jill bathroom with the twin kids room. Nice big shower upstairs and both rooms have doors to the balcony. Downstairs was a queen bedroom near the small main bathroom with a tub and shower. Super warm and cozy in that bathroom. Kitchen has two tables, one for the kids and the other for the adults = awesome! Hot tub worked well, loved the snow covered golf course hill behind the house for sledding and snow play. Cable, Wifi, and fireplace all worked well (bring your own wood). Close to safeway, easy on and off the highway. The house could use a deep clean. Under the beds, back of closets, extra sheets were very dusty and lots of stray hairs. Not gross- all the main stuff was very clean, but would have been even better if everything was cleaner. I have asthma, so that stuff bothers me. The knives could also use a sharpen, but otherwise everything was great. Would love to come back with a new pup in the future.

The sofa bed was broken so our guests that should have slept there had to find other accommodations. The hot tub did not work nor did the ice maker. Called twice for service and did not receive a call back. Also, the dishwasher was not anchored and almost fell out onto the floor when we tried to unload it. Loved the location but did not get what we paid for. Finally on my last call, got a $250 credit to my credit card. This was my son's wedding weekend and having to deal with the house situation detracted even more from the occasion.

Great Place to Stay!
This property is located in a quiet Kings Beach/Tahoe Vista neighborhood where we were able to walk to Safeway, and a couple of really good restaurants. Everything was as described in the listing. The beds and furniture were comfortable, not something we find at every rental property. We had a couple of minor hiccups and both were resolved quickly by courteous representatives.

Great location and nice rental. Located on dead end road so safe for youngsters. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen well stocked but knives super dull. Baths are small but adequate. Only complaints are minor issues. Had one dish towel, need bath mats particularly in upstairs bath where it is super slippery and dishwasher utensil rack needs replacement as it has a large hole in it. All in all nice home that is super close to some great places including a Safeway that is an easy walk away. Definitely would rent again.

Excellent Vacation Rental
This a great vacation home. Quite and peaceful.The beds were very comfortable. We found everything we needed on hand. Definitely will be back next year when I'm in town.

Hot tub was great!
It was a well functioning rental. Only problem was that on arrival the driveway was blocked from use with a wall of snow/ice, so it was difficult to get belongings in house. Once inside a quick phone call to rental agency, and the driveway was plowed in under an hour. Hot tub was great as it snowed most of the weekend. Heater vents are not attached, so easily gets knocked out of place, was a little of a hazard because we had a toddler, but could also cause problem for adults.

Relaxing and Inviting
Beautiful home! Spacious and comfortable; the jacuzzi was a lovely amenity to have. Will be booking this house to experience it in the summer months!

Kings Beach at Tahoe Treat
our family stayed here early in January 2018 and very much enjoyed our time. convenient to shopping, food, and fun. price was great and fit our budget. would definitely stay there again in the future.
