"Really clean room, comfortable bed, quiet at night, super breakfast and great value. No negatives only ventured into town because no sky sports tv available in bar. Can’t have it all I suppose! Just naturally greedy 😃"

"It’s been two years since I last stayed at the marine - the rooms are a little more tiered than I remember but the staff were top class! The guy who welcomed us in was super lovely and helpful when it came to us choosing dinner. The ‘posher’ restaurant menu is significantly better than the bar menu. I did order a pasta dish and the pasta was not what was described on the menu it was fusilli pasta which was giving kids dinner - would have been nice for them to mention, although I was hungry. Not really a complaint as it was lovely. "

Plenty cutlery and dishes and a plethora of herbs and spices No hairdryers or body wash/ shampoo in the showers which is unusual these days- especially in a property of this quality We enjoyed out stay and hope to return in the future "

"Terrific location, very nicely renovated but why would you go this far and leave completely crushed coil spring mattresses in the largest bedroom. No sleep for the occupant of this room! Add a couple of single foam mattresses and give the guest a break! "

"Lovely stay with myself & 2 friends who were working at Ayr races. Found nice places to eat at Harbour Bar and the Tempura Cafe/Bar on Portland St was excellent! Accommodation was very tasteful throughout with a beautiful garden to the rear. Will be looking to return."

"All areas clean and comfortable, had all the facilities we needed for 2 of us.Had to phone the contact as, although given the keysafe number in advance, we were not given the number of the property itself, so difficult to find when we were in the street. Street parking a bit of an issue, twice we had to park quite far down the street, which was an issue when we had to take luggage/food/etc in and out. Overall, we enjoyed the property."
