"This is a moderately priced resort overlooking the Ping River about 1/2 hour outside of Chiang Mai. Our family of four only spent one night but enjoyed the small pool and view from our veranda. The gardens are lovely, room was spacious and well appointed, and the staff very helpful. Breakfast, included in the tariff, was very generous, though dinner service was a bit slow. "The Nampiangdin Hotel was a lovely place to stay! Good breakfast buffet with lots of options, room service, comfy beds, quiet and very good air conditioning, a nice pool, and friendly staff. I also loved that my room opened onto the pool. One thing to consider when booking is that it’s off the square in a quiet neighborhood, about an 8 minute drive or 20-30 minute walk.
