Ski trip with husband

At first we were given a room at St. John which only had 2 twin beds. We went back to registration and they said it was part of the same complex. When we said our registration showed a queen bed, they were very helpful and switched us to a room at Lakeside with a queen bed. It was a little outdated, but the location was great for us and we got to ski and be outside.

Very good location, but unit in need of serious updating. While it appeared clean, need new mattress, chairs falling apart... carpet ... well. I received a very quick (and broken / hard to understand) message as I srive about late check in.... figured it out.. but wasn't clear. (Yes was hidden in email which I found later).

All condos the same?

We were booked at Aspen Ridge but were checked in to Quicksilver. The pool was an indoor one and looked clean and well maintained. Our unit was sort of dark but had higher ceilings than expected and was laid out well.

When booking you are not quite sure what you will get until check in. We ended up with a studio with two twin beds. Owners could put a little more thought into the room layout.

Easy transport to Keystone on shuttle. Property is safe and close to everything. Little efficiency was usable and clean. Shower did not drain so water was ankle high by showers end. Bed was rock hard and very old which was not great.

We love the condo, clean and great condition. Communication was bad. They sent us to 2 different address, we couldn’t even find those address. Waist lot of time calling them and trying to find the right address.

The condo was great. Spacious, well maintained. The Pool House was disgusting. Standing water everywhere. Pool deck drains clogged. Sauna did not work properly, door did not close securely. Corridors, bathroom, pool area all had standing water. No pool towels. Several people came in, asking if we saw any towels. Apparently, they may have been in the condo, instead of the pool area, but we never saw any. Paths to the Pool House were not shoveled, so we had to drive around, walking would have been confined to the narrow road.

St. John. Condo Keystone, CO

The property was hard to locate. The check in staff were not very helpful and a little rude. They told us about First Tracks on the mountain. They did not specify that first tracks ended at 7:50. We got to the mountain at 7:53 and we were not allowed up. The condo smelled like musty sewer. Had to open windows to air it out. Our truck did not fit in the parking garage. Luckily there was “visitor” parking out front.

Nice location but surprised by resort fee and lack of communication prior to trip

Ski trip with my son and his girlfriend. Location was good for us to ski A Basin and Copper. But I was disappointed with two things - no answer to three messages thru VRBO regarding questions to the property manager. I assume that is Keystone Resorts. Then got charged the “resort fee” on the last morning. I guess it was buried in the VRBO text for the property but was not included in the original quote. These “hidden” resort fees are deceptive. I would not stay here again because of the two items listed above
