Beachside Resort & Residences
10/10 Excellent
"Out of 100 stars I would give this place a 99! The only thing that would keep me from giving it that last star is the cost of the drinks poolside. Ordered 2 drinks we would normally pay around $7-$10 each and was blown away when we were told the bill was $46 for two drinks….in plastic cups no less. Other than that we loved the resort. Stop in the Tavern restaurant on site and see Ramon behind the bar. He will hook you up and keep you laughing!"
"Our stay at the Laureate Key West was fantastic! We especially enjoyed the clean room, fully equipped kitchenette and water front balcony along with the heated pool and all the added fun games like ping pong and corn hole, and the complimentary cold water cooler with cold rags during tanning! Not many other hotels we have stayed in had such great attention to detail and all around beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be back!"
"The front desk staff was warm and friendly. We were welcomed given several wonderful suggestions for places to eat and taxi service. My (now) wife and I ran off to get married in an act of spoteneity. Every member of the staff for that matter, from Managers, Concierge, Housekeeping, Cooks and servers were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our villa(as the suites are called) was amazing. Clean, stocked with amenities, spacious and comfortable. The food at the Abbey Road Snack Shack was unassumingly amazing. The food was wonderful, and the people who work it were very engaging. The gardens are breathtakingly beautiful, and we found ourselves content to spend a lot of time there. Wonderful infinity pool, and Sauna, fountains, swings. So much to see and enjoy. Lots of local wildlife on hand within the garden to enjoy. The kind managers gifted us a bottle of wine to enjoy together. The view from our villa balcony looked across the ocean, and was also great. The hotel is set well away from Duval St
, but only an $18, 10 minute ride to have fun and see the local nightlife. One more great thing about this location is it is only an 8 minute WALK to the airport. We will definitely be back, and thank you for such a great stay!"
Built to protect the Florida Keys from a Confederate attack, this towering fort is today home to historic relics and intriguing works of 20th-century art.
