"The porch of the Inn has a spectacular view of the bay and river. It was so much fun to watch the tide go in and out. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. The garden was in full bloom so that was very nice. Our host knew all kinds of information about the area which was helpful and interesting. And our breakfast in the morning was excellent. We also got to meet several of the other guests and had great conversation."

Room was clean, comfy fresh bed.

"What an unforgettable stay! Four girlfriends flew from Arizona to celebrate a milestone birthday, experience the SailGP races in Halifax, and enjoy everything Nova Scotia has to offer. This beautiful lake house on Shortts Lake was the perfect home base. The property is peaceful, private, and surrounded by stunning scenery, making it the ideal place to relax after a day of exploring. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable, and well-equipped. One of our favorite adventures was tidal bore rafting, which was only about 10 minutes away. The location couldn't have been better, with easy day trips to Halifax, Prince Edward Island, and the Bay of Fundy attractions. Canada exceeded all of our expectations, and our wonderful host made the experience even more special with outstanding hospitality. If you're looking for beauty, tranquility, and a convenient location to explore the region, this is the place. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nova Scotia!"
"Very clean rooms, great staff, beautiful property and reasonable prices. If you’re looking for fancy, this is not it. The vibe is more retro and I loved it! Will definitely be back"
"We travelled with a dog. This property is a dog friendly, but $75 for 1 night too expensive. The note sad the fee is depends of nights stay, but as a fact they asked $75 for our 1 night. The breakfast was good, no traffic, the room was big. At the same name property in St.Martin we paid $25 for night pet fee. I paid for 1 night here $283 cad total. Everything else was good."
Newly renovated cottage. 30 second walk to the beach. New hot tub addition!

"Thank you Yvonne & Clinton for a truly wonderful stay! Your cabin is a gem, the location is stunning, the views never got old, and the interiors are beautifully done. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and settle in comfortably. A special mention for the board games, we hadn't played Sequence or Monopoly as a family in years, and after long days of exploring Nova Scotia it was the perfect way to wind down together. We made some great memories here and would love to come back. Highly recommended!"
