"Room wasn’t clean enough. And housekeeping don’t respect say as no one should have been at my door 9am, then again at 10:20am when checkou is at 11 am. "
"I literally called down at nearly 2 AM as people were in the lobby making a TON of noise. You can see by the slope of the roof that the noise carries up to the 4th floor. It was like listening to all of the conversations outside of your door. They did their best, but it never stopped. At one point, there was a small child (4-5 years old talking with people and running around. It's inexpensive but not a nice area. No real food options, and the cafe has really limited hours. Not recommended. "
"Room was overall clean, staff was very nice and friendly. Pool didn’t work but it was cold outside anyway. Tub faucet runs nonstop in room 200. Curtain didn’t cover the entire window to block others from peeking in as well as blocking out the sunlight the next morning. We stretched it the best we could. When we arrived back to the room a roach was crawling on the wall. Not many options in the area. Could use more updates for sure. Door key reader is old and rusty. They tried but it needs some TLC for sure "
Beautiful Lake Wateree views with boat ramp, and large outdoor living areas
10/10 Excellent
"Good place. It was just what my friends and I were hoping for. Had most everything we needed that we didn't bring. Great view and the porch is an excellent space. Nice all around. Would definitely return. Very quite. Really cool, the bird nest of some kind of bird of prey out back."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Columbia-I-20 @ Clemson Rd by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"The first night the bathroom was not clean, I had to go buy cleaning supplies and clean the bathroom. The next morning the staff said the manager will call me and I never got a call. When I got back to the room it still was not clean and the manager was gone. The next morning housekeeping staff knocked on the door at 9:51 to clean the. When check out is 11. The manager only give me $30.00 off. "
"The only thing worth commenting on is the staff. Dealing with the front desk he was both polite and accommodating in answering questions and guiding through the grounds.
This place has A LOT of potential and work was being done in a few rooms.
However, the room given to us was not an upgraded/remodeled room. The carpet was stained and smelled, the walls were spot painted (and not even the same color), bathtub/shower was patched, the sink had no stopper, the chair and footrest was heavily stained and the stool for your bags had broken straps.
The only reason I would return here is out of necessity. "
