Bed and Breakfast in Kelso

"The staff doesn’t speak English. There’s no comforters on the beds, just a sheet & some type of itchy AF cloth. There is a pool, but you’re not swimming in it. It’s half full of some green liquid. And broken appliances surround the pump house. Not for vacations, its a place to sleep, that’s it."

"Claimed they offered breakfast. Packaged junk food and containers of yogurt. One of the worst breakfasts I've see at a hotel, especially considering the price."

"The property is OLD and it shows its age. The place needs a total renovation. The bed is on a metal spring frame which makes noise with every turn during the night. It caters to the construction crew crowd, which is not a bad thing. But I couldn’t park in front of my room because a group was having a barbecue in the parking lot. Of course they were enjoying cold beverages as you would expect. Some of them obviously were not guests at the hotel, but were there for the barbecue. So around 11pm they all started their vehicles and roared off into the night. The continental breakfast consisted of fruit loops and cornflakes, scrambled eggs from a microwave, frozen sausage still half frozen, watery Belgian waffles, watered down orange juice and lukewarm coffee. If you are looking for a nice place to relax, this is not the place for you. If you just want a cheap place for a short visit, maybe."

"The room was very nice and the beds very comfortable. The location is great for all Lynchburg attractions. The staff was very friendly. The housekeeping staff even offer to help with loading luggage."

"Having stayed there when it was new, can say with certainty that it’s outside has deteriorated. But the inside seemed in very good condition, room was nice, clean, and comfortable with lots of thought in design and amenities. Enjoyed the stay overall, once I got past first impressions. "
