"A couple of disappointments upon check in: 1) We rented a cottage that was listed to have 2 double beds + 2 twin beds. We actually had 3 twin beds and 1 double. 2) we were given no ice bucket or complimentary water (pretty common anywhere you go)
Our cottage was nice and cozy. The property itself is very nice and offers plenty of options. Great location, close to everything you need. The breakfast was perfect and hats off to our server for breakfast and the bartender, I would give them both 5 stars but the front desk staff more like a 3.
We did spend a bit of time trying to chase a mouse out of our cottage in the evening but was not successful, so he's still there somewhere. Overall I should say this stay was not what I would expect for the price I paid and I'm sure it's even more expensive in peak season. "
"My dog was welcome, that is not the problem. The property is VERY isolated; it was'nt mentionned in the ad. There aren't any neighbourgs beside the cottage for several km. There is one neighbourg on the other side of the main road, on top of the hill leading to the cottage.I was afraid for me and my dog: what to do if someone decide to come down the hill at night? I couldn't let my dog outside alone, too afraid of the coyotes or wolfes or other wild animal. We had a power faiure and there was no flashlight nor candles and no water after a few hours. The owner offered to drive me , but never offered a hotel room. I left after ony one month. I offered to pay 2 months and asked for a refund for the third month: it was denied. Over all, it was an unpleasant experience, not at all suitable for a widow alone with her dog. "

10/10 Excellent
"This place was awesome, very big space, and access to a really nice yard in the back. Its an entire bungalow. Very clean. All amenities. They had everything...if you wanted to have a thanksgiving dinner with a family of 8, you wouldnt have to bring anything here, plenty of dishes avaliable, frying pans, everything. Made our trip super easy, bbq in the back. The fridge was supplied with butter, milk, cream. Muffins on the counter. A good location for sightseeing the area, its right in the middle of all the good stuff. The owner is super nice and accommodating. Highly highly recommended "
