We had a wonderful time. We stayed right after Christmas 2016 and wanted to stay somewhere near Shrevport, LA for the Independence Bowl. We like staying in cabins and B&B's; this didn't dissapoint. We are a family of 5 but had room to relax and spread out. There are bunks, a fold out chair, and a cozy bed. The property is wondeful and the breakfasts yummy. There is a nice wooden deck with a fire pit and the owner has what you need to make smores. I think that was a sweet touch that we enjoyed. The owner had fishing poles, bait, and a golf cart we used. All of us had a blast fishing. Her ponds are stocked and the fish bite. My son who's not quite old enough for his drivers license had a blast driving us around the property. My younger children enjoyed the company of the two friendly cats on the property and we had fun watching the goats. The owner was very friendly and very helpful and if ever in the area again, we won't hestitate to stay here again. We had such a wonderful time making memories, away from it all, with our kids. The property is 20 minutes or so from restaurants and grocery stores, so if you need things like poocorn or drinks make sure to bring them with you or know that you will have to drive to get them. The drive is pretty easy but to any major city, it's about a 45 min drive.
