"I liked the personal service the owner gave. And, I also liked that it was not a large chain hotel. Although I did not walk all the way to the Sea (because I had been up for 24 hours travelling), I did walk far enough to know I could have easily walked to the nearby beach and small beach town that I could see from the room balcony. Also from that balcony, I could also see the beautiful hilly scenery and the pretty, mainly white stucco homes of the village"

"We loved Iris Villa, it is very quiet and a beautiful property. Gorgeous early morning walks. Loved the morning breakfast. But it should be advertised that there is no dining close by, at least not in the slow season. We found a small market still open our first night to buy some food to eat for dinner after driving half an hour away to find a restaurant but no available parking and a very long wait. Driving in the dark on the very curvy mountain roads is not for everyone!"

An own or a rental car is recommended, the way to the accomodation is a little bit longer than what is convenient to walk, and the road may be relatively challenging for motos.
